I hear chef has to stick with our food during golf season- this was chateubriand, scallop, a beautifully arranged salad, and delicious dessert. Perfect

I'll summarize it all as an overview for any potential member scouring Yelp for good country club reviews in the area - - Tennis - Traditional clay-type surface that you will have to sweep after you use it, but there are never lines to play. I honestly haven't been down in that area for some time now, but I believe there are 3 (maybe 4) courts to use, surrounded by trees so there is always a lot of shade available. There is also a little tennis building (shed-sized) that has A/C and water, mostly utilized during tennis lessons. Pool - Not quite Olympic sized but pretty close, dedicated areas for laps, and a 10ft deep end/diving board area. The pool itself is well-maintained but was definitely put in some time ago. Concrete(ish) bottom with horizontal tiling to mark lane areas. Dining - Three dining rooms, one is off the bar (usually frequented by golfers) and one large enough to hold weddings / events. The food has had its ups and downs over the years but is (and has been for at least the last 5+ years) on a significant up, I have yet to consume a bad meal, breakfast, lunch, or dinner, in as long as I can remember. Golf - Since this is where I spend most of my time, this is where I am most critical. I love the course, the 18 holes are a nice mix of challenging and easy holes, and are consistently updated and maintained so to always be in great condition. The driving range is always in use, and the pro shop has several knowledgeable pros that will help you even without appointment. There are 3 practice areas in addition to the driving range, two strictly chipping/putting greens and one with sand traps to practice out of. There is a food pavilion off one of the putting greens, usually grilling on the weekends in the spring, summer, and fall. I'm sure there are some things that I missed, but those are the biggies. Overall, this is a great place to join if you are looking for a club with good food and good golf, with a more "exclusive yet community" feel to it.

Being new to golf, this place is just right for me. A simple, fun, laid back course. Greens fees…read moreare $18 for 9 or $23 for 18. They only have nine holes so you just go around again and try to fix what you did wrong last time. Don't come if you are looking for PGA greatness.Do come if you are looking for a nice 9 and good craic. My freinds and I play every weekend in the summer. The best time to come is around 5:30 p.m. nobody's on the course. But neither is the beer cart... sigh... My favorite hole is #6. The only par five, it is a hard dog leg right with a stream crossing in the middle. Hug the trees on the right side to set up for your second shot. The greens are usually fast and some, like the #7 is steeply sloped so good luck landing anything on the green.

I went to the bar and ordered a vodka and club. I watched him pour the club in first to the top and then sprinkled a few drops of vodka over it. I questioned and told him I saw what he did, and he took the drink back and wouldn't serve me the rest of the night. Other people were charged $21 per drink when in fact, the drink was $10. Another's husband went back to the bar 3 times because no liquor was in the drink. My brother was charged 3 different prices for the same brand of beer. Very, very unprofessional, and no customer service skills. When the bartender was questioned by other guests as to why he wouldn't serve me, he told them that I was rude and he could give me a breathalyzer. How embarrassing for me at my 50th when that would've been my second drink.

After we left the building clean and with no damages, (I have pictures) they did not give me the deposit, supposedly because guest did not tip the bartender. The male bartender that was there first, Jim, did receive tips and was even offered food. When Heather took over she was rude and demanding but still received tips. Maybe not all guests tipped but that should not concern me since I, the person renting, was tipping. A deposit is for damages, not for lack of tipping. It's because we are Hispanic. It makes me feel like if it concerned a white family there would not have been an issue. Then they went to say and I quote "James George" exact words were YOU People disrespected the bartender which is a total lie, since she was the rude one, and then hung up the phone on me. My father is a member and a veteran and we are all appalled by thier words and behavior towards us.. They are quick to take the money but find an excuse to not give it back.. They are very unprofessional. I would give 0 stars if I could. Guess they need the money more than me since it's a non profit! Enjoy James, buy yourself some manners. Marilyn

The DJ was at the perfect level of excitement for the group, we had a combination of fun dances and popular songs. The music quality was perfect, and they even brought lighting to make the dance mood under the tent even more fantastic! The sound system for the ceremony (we had our own violinist) was just what we needed, and mics didn't have any quality issues. Highly recommend their services!

B_entertained High…read morehopes, high disappointments. I wish I'd seen a review that helped me dodge this bullet. If you are planning a wedding, choose someone else. We used to B_entertained to supply the rentals for our wedding reception at Egerton Park. As we prepared for the event, they made mistakes. For example, they sent us quotes that were triple the price of what they should have been, and which we would've had to pay if we hadn't contested them. In every zoom meeting, Mike kept his camera off, which felt creepy and unprofessional. The company was also unclear about their cancellation and 72 hour policies. However, we took this in stride, and we were ready to let them work things out. We thought we were having a communicative experience with their customer service, and were hopeful that it would go well. At the reception, the generator shorted out one hour before the end of the event. We had paid for the larger generator, but it still gave out. Fortunately for us, our family and friends pulled together and used phone lights to keep the dancefloor lit. We brought our own speaker that was battery powered, and without it, the music would have stopped too. I'm very grateful we didn't also hire a DJ through this company, as their equipment would have stopped working when the generator did. What was most disappointing to me was my experience when I called Mike to discuss this with him. I expressed my frustrations in the hopes that he could explain what happened. But Mike was combative, aggressive, and told me that it was our fault. When I made that phone call, I was prepared to write a review about how, even though the generator stopped working, they worked with us to find a solution. But Mike hung up on me before I had even finished talking. I hope the recording of the call will be made available to me. If he had dealt with me on the phone call kindly, then I would be writing a very different review. But I am immensely disappointed with the service, this reaction, and the way that he treats you once he has your money. I do not recommend this company.

IF YOU TRULY NEED HELP - DO NOT, LET ME REPEAT, DO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE. They say they will help…read moreyou but truthfully they throw you in a hotel that they knowingly has issues with car break-ins, though they will tell you otherwise. I had my catalytic converter cut out of my car overnight and found out from other women in similar situations that it was a regular occurrence that interval house WAS in fact aware of. Because I did not make enough money, and now had no working vehicle, they left me to be homeless because I could not relocate my entire life from Hartford county all the way over to Windham, almost an hour a day. I was referred to 211 and left to either live in a broken car in a hotel parking lot or go back to my abuser's house, because CT is a not a right to shelter state and 211 doesn't give immediate shelter. My worker, Edna, did absolutely NOTHING to help me find some kind of help in the county I lived in and needed to stay in due to the several doctors and daily appointments I could not just move to Windham. I ended up spending all of my savings just to stay in the hotel for as long as I could but without any friends or living family I now am living back in my abuser's home where I am struggling to survive on a daily basis. They will not help you. They will hang up the phone on you. You are better off being homeless or hoping to God you get someone else that maybe will help. This place did nothing to help someone who was abused their entire life. I was left to fend for myself and now I'm back to square one. I was told maybe they weren't the right program for me. Don't expect anything from them.
