Courtney and I had a consultation a week prior to the shoot, and it was then she calmed my fears about being next-to-nude in front of the camera and helped me decide on my outfits without breaking the bank. (Turns out I had a lot in my closet already!) Courtney's home studio is the perfect set up for a boudoir shoot, I felt very comfortable. It had only been a year since the birth of our first child - and I had fluctuated greatly in my weight but now that I have the photos back, I see now what my husband sees when he looks at me. We hired Lois for 2 different sessions - to take our daughter's senior pictures @ Purdue in the Fall AND post-graduation ceremony family pictures. FYI - I did call around & priced other photographers. Lois' fee is very reasonable. Plus, I have the rights to the digital pictures with no set number of pictures to buy from her. And she sent us the gallery in a matter of weeks - fast turnaround time. For the Fall session, Lois communicated with my daughter on photo spots desired & gave sound advise on the clothes that would pop with the Fall foliage background. She had scoped out the campus a few days prior and gave us good advise on what's best for lighting purposes. It was a very relaxed session and the pictures were great. We also wanted Lois to take our family pictures after graduation. We met @ a designated location (arches on State) and she formed in line a few minutes early to get us going. Lois even did me a favor - she bought a couple of champagne bottles for our cork popping photos. Despite the frigid weather (27 degrees), we walked to several locations as my daughter wanted pictures in iconic spots on campus. There was no vibe of getting done quick despite a very cold dreary afternoon. Thanks to Lois' expertise, we now have wonderful Purdue graduation memories in the form of photos. There were many wedding planners I contacted to either get no response back or wanting to charge way more than I could afford. Sandra not only called me back within the day, but was solving problems for me before I even officially hired her. She and her team(Keyiana and Meda) were with me every step of the way. We booked Sandra for my baby shower and the few things we asked her to do right turned out to be a…read moredisaster which I have pictures of. We asked for cupcakes in a flower pot and provided her with a picture. She then took it upon herself to google something completely different and provided us with a horrible recreation of it. Her response to our complaints... "I'm not an artist." Ummm ok then why did you say " Oh I can do that"...What a joke. She even sat out 2 on display that were complete mistakes she said she thought she took out. I could go on and on about the pots not being too small and her smart remarks, her setting up late, providing dead flowers for the centerpieces and the catering not being that great. Sandra is completely unprofessional, careless and insensitive to what you request. I highly suggest supporting another company that is actually going to provide you with what you're paid for. Truly regretful of letting her plan my shower, she was such a disappointment. The response from the owner is another example of her insensitivity and incompetence. There was nothing Winnie the Pooh themed about the shower. Everything was just yellow. No one even had a clue. If Sandra would have taken the time to confirm what we actually wanted there would have been a totally different outcome. She even posted pictures of party favors my family ordered that had nothing to do with what she provided or did. A copyright infringement removal has been requested.

Dominic is the proprietor of the company and met with the bride long before to detail out what she wanted-and didn't want. At the event, he served as the emcee, tuxedo and all, leading the event through all of the stages right on time. In addition to a great playlist of music, he also had a light show adding to the fun environment. We've since attended a couple other weddings and frankly the DJs at those didn't hold a candle to the professionalism and leadership that we experienced from Sound Impressions. We did not utilize the photo booth or the fog machine - add-ons that they have available.

I am not particularly religious so when it came time to pick someone out I really was not particularly thrilled about getting a man of the cloth but I also didn't mind some mention of faith either. My fiance looked a good bit on various sites and finally found Chase. We decided to set up a meeting with Chase at a local coffee house. Chase was there when we got there and fully prepared. Most important, to me anyways, was that he seemed very relaxed and calm and it really served to calm my nerves then, so I knew it would help at our wedding (which I wasn't nervous about but thought perhaps on the big day I might be). After a nice discussion about what we preferred to have Chase presented us with a good bit of documentation to help us decide upon our ultimate vows. Our meeting lasted about a half hour and went really well. We had planned to meet another officiant afterwards but we didn't even get to the car from leaving the coffee shop before we had decided to go ahead and retain Chase. Upon arriving home I immediately Paypal'ed Chase the money (another thing I like about Chase is the fact that he's modern and not only knows what Paypal is but actually accepts it!!) and we got everything set up. We then met with him again a bit closer to the wedding and showed him what we had selected as our vows. We chose a little of this and a little of that. He had offered us a great selection to choose from and made it very easy for us to pick our ultimate vows. On our wedding day Chase arrived early and, as before, was a calming presence in a sea of sorta craziness. I really wasn't nervous a lot but I was a little and Chase quietly explained everything about how it would all go and made me feel 100% comfortable about what we were doing so that I wouldn't mess up our big day. My groomsmen all really liked Chase as well. Our ceremony went off without a hitch. Chase read all of our vows really well, as if he was talking and not reading (I'm sure he has a lot of vows from his selection memorized which helps!). He did not rush but he also didn't linger and draw things out, A common criticism I have of weddings is the officiant tends to "drone" and Chase did not do that! He was great and I'd highly recommend him to anyone, especially if it's your first wedding and you're worried about your nerves. Chase is a real pro who I can't recommend enough. Thank you Chase for being such a great help to make one of the center points of our wedding classy, elegant and wonderful!

Donna of DK Photographic is a wonderful lady, I was recommended to use her through a former customer and friend of mine. The customer also used her for her wedding and raved about her work. So I had to see what it was all about and meet her in person! I met her and from then on we connected very well. Let's just say she was more than just a photographer for me she felt like the wedding planner too. When my dress was having some issues during the wedding, she was there to pin it and make me feel better before entering the dance floor. My wedding planner, couldn't even do what Donna did. It's those crucial moments you don't think about before your wedding that make it a big deal because it's really the biggest day of your life. Let's say I also interviewed a lot of photographers and Donna stood out because it wasn't just her unique style of photography but the fact she really cared about the bride and groom which I didn't feel with the other people we talked to.
