The offices are dated, small and older rooms, but fine for the treatments offered. He did use a sub one day who was very pushy about upselling, that was unpleasant. The owner/treatment provider does believe in applied kinesiology as a diagnostic technique, so if you don't then be ready for it. The treatment works.

I heard him talk about how he could help alleviate allergy symptoms after just 3 treatments. I was skeptical, but I thought I had nothing to lose. After a grueling day playing Sim City on my iPhone I put a horrible kink in my neck. I started my search with my insurance company. I had one single solitary choice. Jeffrey Eisman. The office is on the corner of Greenfield and Outer. Across from a school, next to an apartment building and behind a bus stop. The parking lot is tiny and always full. Inside is not much to look at either. BUT the staff is super friendly and always remembers your name. Dr. Eisman's wife is also part of the staff. Needless to say they are awesome to watch together. Dr. Eisman's office is filled with an Albert Einstein bust, a Homer Simpson x-ray, a self drawn picture of his dog, and a Keep Smilin' sign. Also, he wears Earth shoes, enjoys vegan bacon, blows glass, and he loves his job. These are a few tidbits I have gathered. Dr. Eisman informed me that my insurance company made a mistake and offered to charge me $30 a visit if I wanted to start treatment. He has a quick gentle touch and doesn't force your body to submit. He doesn't push you to book appointments, he says, "We'll be here if you need us." I never feel rushed or like I am being herded from machine to machine. I love that my only choice was Dr. Eisman. He is the perfect chiro for me.

Dr. Song & his massage therapists are great. He explains the problem in terms that a normal person…read morecan understand. He uses a variety of adjustment tools and massage therapy. When I first visited, I was skeptical and scared as I thought of chiropractic care as "neck cracking". Well the first person I spoke to was pleasant, informative and accommodating. Initial visit includes a history dating back to birth. X-rays and a review of the findings will follow. I left with a better understanding of how important the spine is and what causes back pain. Adjustments take less than 5 minutes and I've never had a wait to receive one. (Plus!) There are 2 massage therapists there at a time and they are women. What I like is that they are open 6 days and have late evening appointments available. Most insurances cover adjustments and massage therapy, which is helpful as seeing a chiropractor is a long term relationship (think regularly scheduled hair appt. for ladies and the ritualistic weekly football game). A go to spot if you are looking for back/neck pain relief or just regular adjustments to avoid problems.

Made sure that he was in-network with my insurance, he said he was and is listed in my insurance…read moredirectory. My co-pay for in-network doctors is always $0. Went in, filled out about 30 pages of forms, this took about 45 minutes. I had asked ahead of time if I should bring my own x-rays of my back in with me and he told me no, that they didn't need them. Well OK, some Chiropractors just do not use them. But then he did my x-rays anyway, quite a few of them, no doubt to milk the insurance. He gets me up on the table, suddenly out of nowhere starts to complain that my insurance co. doesn't actually cover all the baloney he is going to do, so I would owe him $80 vs. my not having any co-pays for in-network doctors! Outrageous! This extra useless stuff was as follows: weighing me, height, blood pressure, temperature. This is $80? Plus, I see regular drs. all of the time and I did not ask for nor need this done, I have never seen another Chiropractor do this either. I said no way, my co-pay was $0 and I told him I made sure of this prior to my appointment. He gibberishly said something I couldn't hear or understand, and then continued the exam, but I again said there's no co-pays. This was after I'd been there over an hour and could have mentioned this fairly tale of extra payments on the phone or when I first got there, but nope, he waited over a full hour. He continued to complain that my insurance "doesn't reimburse him for all his expenses", so he illegally charges patients $80 to make up for it. What? I bet if I was some large man instead of being a smaller female he would have never said such a thing! Oh and the adjustments? They were the worst I have ever had from a Chiropractor and I have been to many. My back and neck hurt worse, ended up with a major headache, I got the impression he had no idea what he was doing or maybe just didn't really care. Told him I was leaving and he said I owed $80 and did I want to do a "payment plan"? Could I pay him some of it right now, even $20? Did I have any money at all in my purse? I told him in no uncertain terms to bill my insurance and that was the money he would be paid for my visit. If he doesn't like it and wants to complain to patients about reimbursement from various insurance companies, how about you don't accept that particular insurance? Absolutely nothing less than a rip-off artist, a scammer, and surely a misogynist because I again will say that if I was a man, he would never have said such a thing. He also tried to get me to sign up for some massages of all things, that he himself who is most likely not a licensed masseuse, does on the clients. His office has not stopped trying to phone me to make another appointment either. No way. Sidenote: I called my insurance co. after this and told them what he did. They said I absolutely positively owed him no money at all. That in-network the payments were $0. I highly suggested they remove this guy as a "covered provider" too. What a joke.
