if you are in the N.E of Mallorca this is a MUST. my husband and i discovered this beautiful…read morespanish courtyard with ancient vine & bouganville with its amazing restaurant .the building used to be the village school- the owner is scottish and she has done an amazing job with the place-without it feeling stuffy or frightinghly perfect. the food is divine, wines are well chosen and served by charming personel. i had the tapas- and for once i understood how tapas can be done well and be delicious.james had the scalops -which were done to perfection. it is off the beaten track but still in the middle of town. we had lunch one day and dinner the next. both were amazing- but it has to be said the atmosphere under the starry sky at night was devine. congratulations to the team. you gave our holiday a culinary highlight ! after our 14 days in Artà we have to say Artà is not good for restaurants-they are expensive and the food not good- unless you just want a pizza. this restaurant is certainly more pricey- but it is worth it. we had our children with us- they loved it- and there was a special kids menue. it was just a lovely place to wine and dine but also to chill out !

Went here on a day trip from Porto and wow, it was great to escape the heat for a minute. I thought about getting a massage to relieve some pain from my burn, but they said it was too severe of a burn. Nonetheless, I persisted. I came along place, looking for refuge. And boy, did I find it. I had a warm ice coffee along with a traditional dish for lunch. I after relaxed and listened to the jazz of a man who reminded me of someone near and dear to my life, Edith. Abroad, it's easy to think about Edith as she makes me think of home. So did this fine establishment. If I ever do another day trip, I would come back!
