If you have a home where bricks are below the grade they will make you pay for a $1000 termite treatment before they will clear the inspection even though the VA says they only require a visual check. I had the same home inspected last year for $40 and Active pest control signed it off no problem. However, I'm refinancing this year and TruNorth wants to charge me $1000 even though they see no evidence of termites. Why would I pay for a $1000 termite treatment if they see no evidence of termites? Because they stated that was their policy.
