Although these exercises did relieve it somewhat, there was still some discomfort. He then gave me a series of steroid shots which eventually cleared up the pain. My wait times were all reasonable and the doctor was very friendly and forthcoming. He took the time to explain my problem and his ideas at treatment.

At first I gave up hope that a doctor would actually care let alone do anything. First I met doctor Menotti which I really liked. After a few visits she was honest. She referred me to doctor Chokan because it was complicated to many things going on. After meeting him, a few times it was to the point I was walking on the outside of my left foot. I don't know if really wanted to do the surgery but honestly he did. I had surgery the 23rd of January of last year I am home yes after a month being in a skilled nursing center. I'm grateful to him because he has been honest not many doctors are honest and brutal about it. I know I have a long ways to go yet, but the pain level is around a 5 on a bad day a 3 on a good day. Not everyone will have the same experience. But if you want a doctor that doesn't beat around the bush and honest this place is the best place. It boils down to listening even if you don't like what you hear. I can be a hard person I don't like listening much but really I do my best. The reason I'm giving a 5 star is simple, because of the honesty as well as being straight forward and compassion. I really hope that if you're looking for a good foot doctor you at least give them a chance.

Questioning about my past podiatrist experience at the Cleveland Clinic with obvious dislike for that organization. Contradicted everything I said and put words in my mouth. I would call him close to actually verbally abusive at times. His opinion of me was obviously as a non- compliant patient even though he never treated me! I walked out with a simple bandaid on my toe and he refused to even wrap it. I will never be going back and I'm sure he knew that.

He was fully present in our appointments together. Wait time in the lobby is still only a few minutes. Calls by his staff are always promptly responded to. Their Oasis surgical center is amazing. Unfortunately I went for an emergency visit the other day and the the front desk person was a bit to be desired. She never smiled, very short and just seemed like she didn't want to be there. When I go back, I'll make sure I'm not waited on by her. Very nasty girl. I think she needs a new form of employment
