Some notes about my time at SQA Solution this past winter (I don't believe anyone else from my…read moresession has left a review thusfar) - On Prerequisites: When you speak to the management at SQA Solution they tell you that it's not required to have any programming background, which IS true, but I think the class goes MUCH more smoothly if you have some experience with any other OOP language (at least try to go through a codecademy tutorial). On Our Instructor: JF Nepton, while I don't doubt is knowledgeable on the topics covered in class, is not necessarily a natural-born teacher. He would often come to class unprepared and unorganized and I feel that the time we spent in class could have been utilized much more efficiently. JF spent a significant amount of time in class printing out materials or scrambling to find things for us to do, which I think a bit of planning would have alleviated. I do understand that he was also working full-time, but don't commit to do something and then do it halfway. There were also times where we would ask very specific questions in class and end up getting really nondescript answers like "Oh, it's just something you'll have to figure out along the way". On Resume Prep: As one of the previous reviewers commented, I also did not receive any assistance with resume prep (nor did I spend much time seeking it out). This was not a huge deal for me, personally, but may be something you'd like to take into consideration or dig deeper into prior to enrolling into the class. Note that I do realize this is a bootcamp course which does very much involve a great deal of self-study, so you can't rely on just showing up to class (and nothing more) and becoming a pro. The course WAS all-in-all beneficial for me, perhaps despite of the circumstances. While my experience with the course was positive overall, I think there is a lot that can be done to improve the experience for future students.

First of all these guys when "trying" to make my app said they were only in INDIA and this says…read morethey are in SF?? Yes, its the same guys I dealt with(pragnesh, Ashish, Mitesh, etc- I doubled checked! So these guys promised to make me an app in 45 days(in 2016) and a year and 5 months later it wasn't even close to done. In the beginning, they wouldn't respond to my requests to make corrections on the app when they made a mistake(they made so many mistakes it was unbelievable.)I or my business partner would send an email and they wouldn't respond for days and sometimes not at all without any explanation. They would send me updates fixing 1 problem and create 5 more on basecamp. Super unorganized communication wise too. Before I signed a contract with these guys, they told me they had already made an app very similar to the one I wanted and it would be easy for them to make. This was a lie, I checked later with they company who said no they did NOT make their app). I'm sure they say this so you think they are experienced when signing on, but after 4 months in and only about 50% done, I realized they had no idea what they were doing. After many months, paying them 3 times (because you pay them in increments) and many calls about why my app was still not done, they still really had no reason that made sense to me nor my business partner. They just kept stalling and saying they were working on it. I tried to speak to the owner many times, with very little success. And once after a year we actually spoke to the CEO who promised it would be complete the following week- that was 6 months ago. Basically in the end they just stiffed me out of my money after I asked them for a full refund. I'm not wasting any more time with these dishonest people. Yes, they promised a lot, had great pricing and seemed super nice and accommodating in the beginning- but really should not be working with Americans as they don't communicate well and just say yes to placate you, although they are not following through at all. I'm now out 9k thousand dollars because of #prismetric. I asked for a full refund due to them NOT following their promised contract(and of course they have refused because they claim the app is done and its not even close(maybe 80% now) to working the way it should. Please do yourself a favor, use someone else that is reputable in the United States so that you don't get ripped off like I did. If anyone needs to see all the emails and lies that (I have from these guys please feel free to reach out- I have it all as proof.)
