To Whom It May Concern,…read more I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding the treatment I have received at Crossroads over the past two years. I have been a patient in the MAT program for six years and, until recently, I was consistent in attending my appointments, following all treatment requirements, and maintaining my recovery. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have been deeply disappointing and, in my opinion, have undermined my care and progress. Incident #1 - Unjust Discharge (Year Prior) After nearly five years of consistent attendance and compliance, I was abruptly discharged--without any prior notice--for missing a psychiatric appointment by five minutes. The night before, my boyfriend relapsed and became violent, resulting in police involvement at my home for most of the night. I contacted the office within minutes of the missed appointment to explain, yet I was denied my medication for approximately three months. While I understand the clinic often works with individuals struggling with active addiction, I feel my history of compliance and commitment to recovery should have been considered in that situation. Incident #2 - Counselor Change and Lack of Response (May-July 2025) In May of this year, I was switched to a new counselor--one of many changes that were not initiated by me. Unfortunately, I did not feel comfortable with this counselor and immediately contacted the office multiple times, both by phone and in person, requesting to be reassigned. Despite my repeated efforts, I never received a call back. I continued with my normal MAT appointment with Dr. Shenburger, who, along with nurses Sabrina and Nicole, had worked closely with me to transition to the Sublocade injection. I received my first shot on June 2, 2025. However, when July came, I noticed there were no upcoming appointments scheduled in the system. After many calls, I was told I had been discharged again--this time for "not attending counseling"--despite the fact that I had made multiple documented attempts to address my counselor concerns. Incident #3 - Re-Intake and Denial of Sublocade (June-August 2025) After speaking with a supervisor, I was told I could restart services quickly and resume my Sublocade treatment. I was scheduled for an intake on June 25, 2025, and was assured I would be able to receive my injection. However, at that appointment I did not receive the medication, and the next available date offered was in August--two full months later. This delay meant I would be without medication long enough to go into withdrawal, and I was also informed I would not be able to continue with Dr. Shenburger or the Sublocade injection at all, but would have to return to sublingual medication. Having already worked through the adjustment period and anxiety of switching to Sublocade, I found this unacceptable and harmful to my recovery stability. Conclusion Throughout my time at Crossroads, I have always taken my recovery seriously, complied with requirements, and built a positive rapport with my providers. The recent lack of communication, disregard for patient comfort and continuity of care, and abrupt discharges have caused significant emotional distress and jeopardized my recovery. I would like to sincerely thank Dr. Shenburger, as well as nurses Sabrina and Nicole, for their compassion, dedication, and professionalism. They made a meaningful difference in my treatment and recovery, and my concerns are in no way a reflection on their care. My issues lie entirely with the administrative and systemic failures that have repeatedly disrupted my treatment. I believe my case highlights a breakdown in communication, patient advocacy, and respect for those who are genuinely committed to treatment. I am requesting that Crossroads leadership review these incidents, take accountability for the lack of communication and follow-up, and implement changes to prevent this from happening to other patients. I have sent this too Crossroads as well but figured I would share my experiencea on here too for anyone else!

This place don't even deserve 1 star. Don't visit this place if you're expecting proper &…read moredecent-quality care for your health needs because most of these medical workers are clearly taught, trained to disrespect and be unethical towards patients here. Especially if you are a minority person, I'm not dumb & I got the behavior figured out. This medical practice has strange smells in certain rooms, & some of their medical tools appeared to be dirty, improperly cleaned & sanitized. Pretty hard to believe that I can trust workers to know what they're doing & provide good care, when they don't even know how to keep their office cleaned as it's supposed to be. However they maintain their homes, they can refrain from doing the same in this practice. It's just that simple. Anyways, one of their receptionist workers will answer the phone with a rude attitude, play phone-tag, immaturely hang up on patient in the middle of a phone call for no reason. One of their medical-greeters (Who's too old for her nonsense) was giving dirty looks (Looking all up & down at a patient, pulling overdramatic & petty, rude gestures at the patient, talking in a impatient, condescending tone.), acted childishly & had this over-the-top, weird & erratic behavior towards others for no reason. It had no logic at all & made no sense. Trying to embarrass somebody, so I'll embarrass her back. She made a uncomfortable, awkward unnecessary interaction just because she saw a woman who looked different from her, who appeared for a appointment & she got mad about it. Just like a Karen lol. When people are employed to work with the public & this includes in healthcare, they are required to do their job correctly & simply provide actual proper medical care, which means to address & handle the patient's health & concerns. Check them in for their appointment & then let them leave when their appointment is done, with no issues. Nothing more, nothing less. Know the difference & get it right

Unbelievably awful on so many levels!!! I can't imagine where they got 5 star reviews from…read more I went to continue treatment for bioidentical hormones for menopause after moving to PA-all appointments were remote/on the phone. I had an absolutely horrific experience with Natalie. She was incredibly rude, literally yelled angrily at me at one point, and insisted I buy $300 in supplements from their office, even some I already have. It gets worse. She/her staff didn't reveal that there was a $95 monthly 'maintenance fee' until after I had the initial consult, did blood labs, had a follow up consult to go over labs, and was transferred to the front desk to pay (a HIPAA violation in not being transparent about that fee prior to my appointment). When I asked why the fee, they said "to go over future lab results/make recommendations", however, after a 6 week follow up after starting the new hormone/supplement regime, they admitted I'd only need to do labs every 6 months. So I'd be paying $570 every 6 months for 1 consult?? I also paid $150 for the consult I'd just had, but then there was another $95 fee?? They asked me several times if I wanted to bill insurance for my labs or pay through their office (which seemed very odd) without explaining that they ordered my blood draw at Quest Labs at my request (a participating provider on my insurance) but had them processed elsewhere (I'm still trying to find out if that lab is on my insurance), or that one test can cost "thousands of dollars" if not covered, and that they have "a deal" with this other lab, so not using insurance could cost me less (another HIPAA violation in not explaining this to me prior to having my labs done) until I called the office back to tell them how upset I was at the way I was treated by Natalie. At that point their staff member tried to excuse her yelling by saying "another patient was there making a lot of background noise, so Natalie raised her voice". When I reminded her that discussing my medical care in front of another patient was a HIPAA violation (#3!), she tried to backpedal and said "the patient *probably* couldn't hear what Natalie was saying". Natalie would barely let me get a word in during our consult as I tried to explain my allergies to certain medications and supplements, and other pertinent points re: my medical history. When I insisted she let me speak, that's when she began to yell. I've never been so poorly treated by a member of the medical community. I plan to file a complaint with the Medical Board. Meanwhile, others need to know what kind of treatment they'll face with this horrible woman, their dishonesty, and the way they try to milk people for money. I would give less than 1 star if it was an option.

I cannot believe (MY BRAIN HAS BEEN BLOWN!) that this charlatan has received 5 stars let alone one…read morestar I am forced to give him. I drive 8 hours (round trip) to have a procedure which I was assured I would receive, only to follow Dr. Gabinskiy into a conference room where he proceeded to tell me that he didn't provide Morpheous8 Bodytight (which, mind you is advertised on his website) and which I expected to receive. He then told me that I was too old for anything but surgery. Before I left, he pulled my stomach, which is not an area I was concerned with and asked me if I was sexually active! This was NOT WHAT I drove so far to receive. When I called the police in Williamsport about his offensive behavior, they never returned my call. Cover up. I foresee that this charlatan will end up in court one day.
