I typically go on a week day and have never needed to wait more than 10 minutes. I've never had a bad hair cut from these guys. They're fast, detailed and talented. I like when I get my hair cut by Schmidty himself - he's always got great stories and makes good conversation. The other think I like is the price. $20 - cash only. I often tip another $5 but still much less than most other places, especially the high end locations.

No appointments but, given that they have long hours, we've never had much of a wait when we go in. $22 gets you an experienced cut by anyone there but our favorite cuts have been by Troy and so we'll probably start requesting him. I don't post pics of my kids online but we've now been here 5 times for a cut and we've been happy every time.

Since Craig took over the shop over a decade ago, he has kept that old time barbershop feel while implementing an online scheduling system (partially due to COVID-19) and now takes electronic payments (in the past it was cash/check only). Craig has also had more than one barber working the schedule as well to keep up with demand. If your looking for an old time barbershop experience, Craig's Como Barber is the place to go.

I started coming here after I realized that I didn't want to patronize the businesses that don't support real people, find a barber that cares about their community, and wanted to support a small business run by good people. They certainly check all the boxes, and are still affordable. Thanks for the great business.

I also like to get cuts whenever I travel and being a simple man, ya really can't goof it up (exception! Mexico City). So anyway, Teaj is who I work with and she always gives me a great cut. I also really like their online scheduling system. It makes it so easy. Plus it is a pooch friendly place (always ask first), as you can see, my boy Rudy was a little stressed as he had no idea what the hell was happening to me. But when all was said and done, he approved and so did I.

Your best bet is to make an appointment. Otherwise, you may be passed up in line by those that have them. Just walk in the front door of this office building, take a right down the hallway, and take a left at the door before you end up walking into the salon at the end of the hall. You will be pleasantly greeted by Si (pronounced 'She'), the owner and operator of this fine establishment. If you don't have an appointment, he'll let you know if you're going to be passed up by those with appointments and may ask you to make an appointment for later. This will save you time in the long run. Again, make an appointment. Si is meticulous and will not rush your cut just to get you out of the chair. He isn't slow by any means, but practiced and thorough so that you won't have to go home and see longer hairs left over from a trimmer that has been buzzed over your scalp just once in a hurry to get on to the next one. The conversation will be what you want it to be; limited for the less loquacious. He is quite good at reading personalities and will make you feel at ease. All in all, you'll get a master cut for the same price or less than the Great/Super/Fantastic/Sport joints. I know I'd rather spend my money to support the guy that cares enough to do a quality job each and every time, probably at the expense of his own bottom line.

He was able to keep me relaxed while taking a straight razor to my face. That deserves an award in itself. I will absolutely be returning in the near future for another shave and haircut. I've decided that it was such an overwhelmingly positive experience, I will have to start coming on a monthly basis. It is well worth it.
