This is a bigger church with small church feel. As soon as you walk in Sunday morning you are welcomed with a smile and the smell of fresh bacon being cooked in the kitchen. When this church (previously named Grace) was first founded, God was present in it's walls. They grew, grew and grew! But the Lead Pastor became greedy, selfish and a social status climber. He made very poor decisions, including very destructive pastor staff changes. He started charging lots of money for things that used to be free. He failed miserably. Then they hired a narcissitic, arrogant and self-loving/promoting book-writing Lead Pastor who didn't care about anyone in his flock. He ultimately was fired. Now, they are hysterically trying to bring back the ol' days of when the church was first founded, but alas, those days are long gone. Lead pastors at this church have been corrupt for ages. I don't know if God has left this church, but it is certain that God is the only one who could bring this church back to life. Repent, Lead Pastors of the past and present...repent and maybe you'll start to grow again. Apologize for the critical errors you made. That is the only way forward, if at all. read more

Pastor Bob" was notified of my father's passing on January 25th via a phone call. His response was "oh, I didn't know about that". My sister and I have been waiting for an acknowledgement for a month now, and unfortunately I believe we would still be waiting had we not posted negative reviews to your Facebook page. Grace Fellowship has my father's address on file as he was mailed his "2018 Giving Statement" on January 28th, which outlines he made at least a $200 donation every Sunday and up to a $4000 donation on 5th Sundays. I understand you believe you are not "legally" responsible to notify a family member of a medical emergency that may happen on your premises, however it would seem morally appropriate. His truck sat in your parking lot the day he collapsed for six hours with his phone sitting right inside and not one person had the discernment to gain access and possibly contact someone. I realize hospitals and medical facilities are bound to HIPAA laws, but I was not aware that a church is. Had my father signed a HIPAA release to attend your church? I think not. My review is not based on assumptions. I am a business owner and if one of my patient's collapsed at my office to the point an ambulance had to be called, I would most certainly try to contact a friend or relative. That's just plain old common sense and compassion. Also, as a business owner, upon hearing that any of my patient's pass away, flowers and cards are sent to the grieving family. Once again, that is where compassion steps in. And I'm not in the business of looking after people's eternal heavenly life. In closing I want to say that my original post will remain...in loving memory of my father. So that all people can know that no matter how frequently you attend Grace Fellowship or how much money you donate to Grace Fellowship...it is impossible and unreasonable for "Pastor Bob" and "Pastor Mike" to remember you. read more

Pretty big church in the suburbs of York. Very good preaching from the senior pastor. Very biblical sermons with good theological underpinnings. You can tell that the preacher did a lot of study and preparation beforehand. Seems to have a full range of ministries for men, women, and kids. read more

3 years ago I emailed the church after being absolutely traumatized seeking help for my family as soon as I discovered my husband's double life filled with sex, porn and love addiction of 16 years. Pastor Bob met with us. He and his wife decided to counsel us once a week while our children were in Awana. They told us to go on a bunch of dates and gave us 2 book recommendations. It was uncovered immediately in the first session that my husband was watching porn a minimum of 4 times a week. I was told that I needed to choose within one month whether I was going to stay or not and that I had to forgive him right away. After 8 weeks of seeing them I was told that I can no longer ask my husband any questions about his hidden past and that I needed to move forward in forgiveness. True , real, genuine forgiveness takes time, and can't be given in one month. Also, for true healing to occur a women needs absolute and full disclosure so she can feel safe moving on in a marriage rampant with addiction. I needed answers and would research online trying to find them and Pastor Bob said I can't do that, he also told us that if we sought help elsewhere that he won't help us. The reality is that if a woman finds herself in this situation she needs to get trauma therapy and get it fast outside of her addicted spouse and the addicted should be in their own recovery for 6 months-1 year before the couple even considers coming together in couple's therapy otherwise you'll be spinning the hamster wheel of abuse. You cannot successfully counsel a marriage ridden with sexual addiction when the man is in active addiction and the women is bleeding out in triage needing care of her own as well. I was told to be the helper, I was provided with zero tools to heal. I was not given any tools to help manage my anger at the situation and the situation was compounded more with spiritual abuse by Pastor Bob. Pastor Bob told me constantly in each session to take the log out of my own eye but could never relate that to our situation or how I was supposed to apply that in real life. After 2 months of seeing them, they could not also help us communicate. Pastor Bob and Sue had communication issues of their own. My spouse wouldn't communicate at home nor in sessions. Pastor Bob and his wife Sue crossed the line of when they started attaching to us inviting us to their family cookouts and into their personal home for dinners and game nights, we were both vulnerable and desperate for help not friendship. We were far beyond healed and they were trying to apply a bandaid fix, sweep it all under the rug and move on. At 12 weeks Pastor Bob talked to Pastor Mike and they said that usually a couple can move on by now and end counseling. They don't understand that a discovery as grave as this on a marriage takes 3-5 years of active recovery work to heal from, not a meager 12 weeks. The further narcissistic abuse that went along with my husband's sexual addiction was completely discounted and disregarded and not addressed. I felt just as disregarded in counseling with Pastor Bob and his wife as I felt at home for 16 years with my addicted husband. At month 6, my husband continued in his active addiction as we spun the hamster wheel of abuse. He finally confessed to me after I begged him to tell me for months why he married me but cheated since day 1. He told me it was because I made him feel wanted, powerful and in control. I was sick to my stomach and asked for an emergency meeting with Pastor Bob and his wife Sue. We met in their living room and I begged them to help me, and they told me, "Can't I see? He's changing... They said if I leave him, they will support him because he wants to make this work and their focus was always turned on my anger rather than the issues presented to them initially at hand. I have met 4 other families who have left this church due to similar damaging counseling experiences.
