Equipment and facilities for gymnastics are great. My child has a fun time but it is good for…read morerecreation only and not for learning actual gymnastics skills. Customer service is beyond poor from Reception team. My daughter had been going in Term 1 but had a break from going as she was unwell. We had direct debit set up so lessons were already paid for. We did not ask for make up classes or a refund. I have paid for classes again but mistakenly booked for the week after. Instead of approaching the parent and being advised there was an error in the booking and this lesson has not been paid for. My daughter was pulled out of class, made to wait on the side while the staff figured out the error. My daughter was ostracised, shamed and embarrassed. We are previous customer, we are not looking for a free lesson, we could have easily paid the $19.50 casual rate. I dealt with Brianna on the phone and she did the best she could to rectify the situation. I asked for the Manager to contact me. I did get a call from the Manager Erin and I am still bewildered how Brianna was more empathetic and apologetic to my experience than her superior. There was no apology from Erin even over the phone and even in her email. She was more than happy for me to leave and was so quick to offer a refund. Thank you. I will gladly take my business elsewhere.
Don't know where to start. New to area and looking for somewhere to put our kids in gymnastics and…read moreactivities for vacation time. When I walked in (new customer) I did not know where to go exactly and the reception staff told me off for going into the wrong door? She then proceeded to be very rude and condescending in her attitude as I enquires about programs and fees. She also left me mid conversation to answer the phone and then did not return to me! I had to ask someone else. I preserve der, giving benefit of the doubt. However, when I finally got my youngest to the gymnastics program there was no direction as to what group she goes to, where to start etc. the lack of organisation was very apparent, and after viewing 2 weeks of 'classes' the obvious (and feared) lack of professionalism and care of the coaching staff was abhorrent. The coaches looked bored, uncaring and unhappy. This showed through their lack of planning and enthusiasm during the one on one contact with the kids. I brought this concern up with a manager and was old I was wrong, and that I was welcome to go elsewhere?! What kind of attitude is that. I was stunned, I couldn't even reply. I asked for a refund and was told that wasn't going to happen, with a smirk on the managers face! Stunning. I found out online how to contact RHR Group and sent an email with my concerns, but to date no reply. I have been involved in gymnastics myself in the USA for many years and know what a good program should look like. This was one of the worse I have ever seen, from the dangerous amount of children running around and lack of caring supervision and boredom to the uninterested managements attitude of 'if you don't like it go somewhere else'. It's a very nice facility, shamefully wasted. I guess you can really 'polish a turd'. Wouldn't recommend this facility to my worse enemy. Don't go there, spend your money elsewhere. Shame.
The despicable reputation in the martial arts community is well deserved. While they may teach how…read moreto fight, there is no focus on discipline, honour and respect. Teaching people how to fight and not developing ideals of empathy, not having any repercussions of using martial arts out of context (i.e. bullying) is creating and condoning negative social behaviour. Advise would be to keep children clear of this gym and everything it stands for. If I could give it zero stars I would.
SNAP! SNAP fitness. Never been a fan of the name. What snapped?…read more Underwear as you heaved some weights that were too heavy? Your resolve to work your butt off ( literally) Your patience as that certain member hogs the shower? Those thoughts aside, Snap Fitness is your run-of-the-mill 24 hour gym. Well, I've been a member of a few and in reality it is probably better than others where I've decided to get hot and sweaty. It is large and clean. Situated in part of the Seven Hills industrial site it is easy to access & parking at 5am is an absolute breeze. In fact I often have the entire carpark to myself. The services of a PT is available, and full fitness programs as well as a variety of classes. My schedule means that I'm happy to devote 30 minutes, most days of the week, to a fitness regime without being too serious. Works well. I find that if you can't get into a rhythm with gyms they can be money being spent unwisely.
