We also did the entire disc golf course over two days. The first day we did 7 holes and the second day we did 11. We were all pretty much beginners so we definitely struggled a bit (so many trees). I had bought a disc set off Amazon and luckily they were bright colors because one person in our group kept losing theirs in the dead leaves. If you have to rent, I believe each disc is $5. It was fun but it does take awhile if you aren't great, like we were. I would definitely go again to see if I can get anywhere close to par (not likely). Still highly recommend this park. We are lucky to have it nearby.

Super fun place for my 5 year old, he requests to go to this park specifically :) There are also tennis courts attached so bring your racquets. Parking is designated on the side, and free of course which is great. There's also a wooden seat around a big tree and a gazebo for parents to relax. Wonderful park! Take your kiddos!

The paths were recently cleared and roots shaved down to provide an even and clear walking surface. While walking we saw a barred owl, woodpecker, and bald eagle. We went the day after a heavy rain and the trails were a bit muddy. I recommend sneakers or shoes good for mud if you go after a rain. On a non-rain day, all footwear is acceptable. It was little tricky to find as Google takes you to the 41 entrance that leads to a chained gate. Eventually we found the correct entrance on Park West Blvd. Once in the lot, you drive all the way to the farthest baseball fields with plentiful parking. Tip: take a photo of the trail maps as you can get turned around at the forks in the trails.

I really like the big trees and the amount of shade that they offer. This is a nice place to get some fresh air on a busy day. It is also a good space to have a picnic with plenty of green area around it. This park is very well maintained and landscaped and offers something different to a spot you may have overlooked.

We use to frequent the dog park here at Park West Recreational Complex, but it was a little scary in some areas where they should remove stumps in the water. But our dogs had a grant time here in this small dog park when we didn't have time to take them to a bigger dog park. Also I've been to quite a few of the community gatherings here where the fields have been used rides, jump houses, and other fun things for the kiddos. Also where local businesses and some corporate attended to hand out free samples and let everyone attending know a little about their businesses. Laurel Hill County Park connects to the Park West Recreational Complex providing some nice trails to hike. And I've also came here to vote in local elections. So that's just a few things that I have done here, but there is so much more to do. They have fields for baseball, soccer, football, softball, etc, they have an indoor center with things to do, they have a pool. If you live in Mt. Pleasant especially the Park West area I encourage you to check it out.

Restrooms are available. Just a beautiful park. Only $2 admission or free with parks pass. You have to give this park a try and it will quickly become a favorite!
