The fact that the O'Reilly Brothers don't have 5 stars on Yelp makes no sense. Trust me, there's…read morethousands of satisfied people out there, my wife and I being two. We bought a multi-unit building in 2016 and have steadily improved it. One of the first things I looked into was insulation. The building is old. The new unit we added immediately made the basement the warmest and most temperate floor. We weren't going to do a full reno on the ground floor so we decided to do "drill & fill" with cellulose for sound deadening. They were excellent. We did have a miscommunication about one cavity that was accidentally filled but this was professionally rectified. Just last year it was time to do the attic. We thought about saving money and doing it ourselves. Just before renting the equipment and sourcing the insulation at Home Depot I have them a call for a quote. It was off-season but the quote blew me away. Like with our previous renos, their pricing was extremely aggressive and I said yes right away. The man (Reggie, if I remember correctly) and woman who showed up to do the blown-in cellulose were great. Total pros who even spotted a few issues in the attic and addressed them on the spot! One was that a previous contractor installed an incorrect venting tube and replaced it. These guys are total pros. I'm a landlord and also have family who are real estate investors. We all agree that the OReilly Brothers are like a well-oiled machine. Other companies, from our experience, don't have the systems in place to do the quality work for such fair pricing. There's something special about supporting local businesses in this day and age of online shopping…read more Especially when the business in question has been doing what they do for a very long time. It's a testament that this isn't their first rodeo, as the saying goes. Our old couch, that has gotten a lot of use from 2 kids, and plenty of adult naps was in need of some TLC. Tempting as it is it just put it by the curb, and get something new, the prices of new furniture of similar quality is outrageous, and certainly isn't built as well as what we have now. Fleshers is close to home, the price quoted for the service was very reasonable, and - because this ain't their first rodeo - the turnaround time is insanely fast. That's the difference between them and another company that may be bigger and "better" because of name recognition as a result of marketing and advertising. Word of mouth advertising is where it's at, and has always been a better indication of quality than anything else. Plus, supporting a family owned local business is priceless.

They were busy but greeted us right away and invited us to look around. They have exactly what we needed and at a great price. Two custom-sized metal screens for $60. Kevin Woo was courteous and even though there were others waiting, walked the screens out to our car to make sure they fit. He also wrapped them up so they won't scratch my trunk. If you are looking for metal parts for arts and crafts projects, this place lives up to its reputation. They have all kinds of metal parts in stock and the salespeople are courteous no matter the order.

We wanted to have a bar top made in stainless steel so emailed to see if they could do this…read more Response was quick and said they could certainly help with this. I proceeded to send in my drawings with all measurements. This was on June 19, 2018. I called on July 3rd, because I hadn't heard anything. He said they must have missed my email, I told him what date I sent it, he looked and found it. He said he would send for a quote and get back to me within a few days. Four days later, I hadn't heard anything again, so I called them. He said he was still waiting for another quote and told me that he doesn't think they can do it! I only wish they had told me this at the beginning, I would have sourced it from someone else. Customer Service is about setting the expectation in which they failed to do in this situation. In the end he did refer me to another provider that could do the countertop.
