Old, Maltipoo Buddy, was able to see Aiden that next Saturday. This would be his 2nd groomer ever, so I was pretty nervous! We dropped him off and got to meet his groomer. Some didn't service cats, others only a physical location and a few just extremely high priced. I thought mobile would be better and it was! I have mobility issues and my boy weighs close to 30 pounds. Rene responded with very reasonable pricing, gave me a date and time and said we come to you. He fit me in for an urgent appointment. He made me feel comfortable and confident that he has experience grooming cats. He was very communicative up to the minute he arrived at my house. He actually arrived earlier than expected, which was perfect for us. He's such a friendly man, gentle with pets, just AMAZING! He took him to his van, 15 minutes later he was done and my boy is as happy as a clam. I've been spending time trying to help him clean with wipes and dawn dish soap but he's got very long fur. Rene even got some of the mats out that were on his belly. It was great to see my boy returned and not traumatized. He kept coming back over to the door to "thank Rene". I'm new to LB and was looking for a groomer whom we can create a relationship with. And who my cats trust and like also (I have 3 cats, 2 girls and one boy). Small store but I was pleasantly surprised to see our dogs' kibble available (Taste of the Wild)-- which you can also buy in scoops by the pound!! They have tons of dog supplies (poop bags, toys, shampoo, leashes, collars, harnesses), and even offer nail trimming and grooming (i think) as well. They also have tons of bird seed and much more! My dog is 15 years old and still has plenty of spirit, but his hearing and vision aren't what they used to be. I always worry about him feeling scared or overwhelmed when I leave him somewhere new. From the moment I picked him up, I could tell he was in great hands. He looked absolutely adorable--clean, perfectly groomed, and somehow even cuter than usual. But what really stood out to me was the extra care the staff took with him because of his age. When I arrived, they explained that they took their time with him and used a special crate dryer instead of rushing the process, specifically to keep him comfortable and safe. As a pet parent, that level of thoughtfulness means everything. It's clear they understand that senior dogs have different needs and are willing to go the extra mile to accommodate them. Finding a groomer you trust can be stressful, especially when your dog is older, but I left feeling so grateful that I found this place.
