They are the reason I have stuck with this location through multiple owners over the past several years. We have been going to this store for over 10 years. All the staff are excellent but Arlene in the pharmacy goes above and beyond. She is always available to answer any questions or help with benefits issues. She knows our family and always greets us. Although the pharmacy fees are higher for Shoppers I find the customer service makes up for it. I like their mobile app for prescription refills. As long as you have the Rx number it is incredibly convenient to order refills. The store is very responsive too - there was an issue with one of the mobile refills and Arlene called to clarify. In addition to prescriptions we also get our annual flu shots here. Very convenient and rarely a wait to get the shot.

He takes the time to explain how to take your meds so that you understand what to do when you go home. The shop is clean, neat, welcoming and modern. The location is steps away from a doctor's office that is accepting new patients. The prices are competitive too so you know you are getting a good deal!! Service is offered in English, Mandarin and Cantonese so there are no language barriers which is great for those who speak English as a second language and may need instructions in their mother tongue. Something as simple as getting a prescription filled after seeing a physician requires a hardcopy to be printed and brought over to the pharmacy 5 steps away. My previous experience tells me that this step could easily be skipped if the physician sends the prescription directly to the pharmacy. I noticed that the clinic and physician are better integrated with the clinic than vice versa. I had to relay something that the physician said to me about the prescription to the pharmacist that could easily be avoided (and removing potential medical errors!) if the pharmacist talks to the doctor directly. It feels like I have to run back and forth between the doctor and the pharmacist because both sides don't really talk to each other. The pharmacy appears to be well stocked, particularly for travel medication and vaccines (e.g. yellow fever). The prescription was filled at a decent speed but the pharmacist was clearly overworked. I think the pharmacy owner knows this, because they offer a free McDonald's coffee coupon for you to redeem next door while you wait for your prescription to be filled. The pharmacist is nice and carefully explained the things once the prescription is finally cleared up.
