We visited Gelato Gilberto in Norton Commons to order crepes. It clearly says outside on their window they have crepes. When I asked about crepes, the worker had no idea what I was talking about. Consider getting a razor blade and scraping that word off. We punted and ordered salted caramel and stratciatella gelato. Delicious!!!! A decent outside seating experience. Maybe worth a stop if eating at Waldos Chicken or Karem's Grill and Pub.

Excellent as always. I had the strawberry sorbet when I saw the trailer at the Cresent Hill 4th of July Festival. Was very refreshing on a hot day. Owner and staff was friendly and helpful. The sorbet was very fresh and delicious! Highly recommended!

I really liked this place. I got a small key lime pie gelato. It was so good, but it had too lime zest in it. It had graham crackers or like pie crust on top that was really good. The cookies and cream flavor was delicious. I got a small and it was plenty for me. It was $3.50 for their smallest size so it wasn't bad.

This lovely gelato place is sooooooo amazing, must try now if you read this far . The flavor is on spot, lovely atmosphere and a gorgeous outside seating... And today they are celebrating their 15 years in business. I tried the pistachio gelato and I couldn't stop until it's gone . We loved it,the kids loved it just amazing...

Somehow we found ourselves driving through Norton Commons a couple weeks ago. I honestly have no idea how we ended up there, but suddenly my wife was buried in her phone and started giving me "turn left down this street", "go around this corner" and "no that that corner, THIS corner". After winding through several streets in the greater Norton Commons area we stopped in front of Gelato Gilberto. We got out of the car and she said "Follow me". What was I going to do? NOT follow her? I didn't make it 24 years by not following her, so in we go. This Saturday evening was pretty quiet as my wife dragged me in (ok, she didn't really drag me, but I was missing the James Bond marathon on TNT) for Gelato. Gelato Gilberto is a quaint little place that offers more than just Gelato. 24 flavors of Gelato, to be exact, in 3 different sizes and a waffle cone option. What's really cool about it is that you can mix/match flavors in your cone/waffle bowl. I had a medium bowl with a mix of Mango and Mixed Berries and it was a very good combination. The girl behind the counter was helpful in educating us what our options were (sizes) and to help answer our questions about the flavors and providing samples on an itty bitty spoon. Gelato Gilbert also offers Nutella crepes (which I REALLY need to make a return trip for) and a small section called Itty Bitty Italy where you can find a few items specific to Italy. It was a great experience for a frozen treat when we ended up somewhere we didn't expect. A treat not entirely unlike James Bond might have gotten, had not stayed home to watch his own marathon on TNT.

If you're looking for something different and love ice cream, go here. Just go you won't be disappointed! It's in a very unique part of town. It's very quiet and peaceful. They offer many flavors and they are ever changing so you could try new flavors often. Both types we tried were very creamy and flavorful. They do offer outdoor seating. I recommend sitting outside and enjoying it. It's a very relaxing experience. One of my new favorite ice cream spots !

Over the hills & through the woods....just playing In the middle of Norton Commons is this little gem. If you enjoy gelato it's worth the drive. Their goat cheese & fig gelato is silky, sweet & slightly tangy. It was divine. It brought me back to my trip to Germany where I had gelato for the first time. They also have pastas, espresso, and other Italian items to purchase. È Delizioso

Take the deliciousness of a regular ice-cream cone, times it by a million, then sprinkle it with crushed-up unicorn horns. That's my review about the Italian gelato I had here. I love this place! It's perfectly located, has great flavours, is inexpensive. What else do you want? I had the birthday cake, blue sky, chocolate dirt. AMA-ZING! 2 small sized flavours will cost $7.29. You can also get 2 flavours in one cup.

New sweet spot off Frankfort ave & I'm hooked! I live down the road and have already tried 4-5 flavors and each one is amazing. The Pistachio has been my favorite! He has some crazy cool flavors he mixes together & the gelato itself is such great quality. Smooth, creamy, and yummy! The owner is always so nice & as are the employees we've encountered since they recently opened. Glad to see they have made there way from Norton Commons to Frankfort Ave for a 2nd spot!

Cute little Gelato store in an adorable city with lots of shopping. There were a decent amount of flavors to choose from and they all sounded great. The cups they served the gelato in were super cute. I got Salted Caramel and the toffee, both of which were fantastic. My husband ordered a chocolate cherry which was good (mine were better ^^) The decor in the place was nice, clean and pinterest cute. My only complaint is that the person serving the gelato wasnt wearing gloves.

Small gelato--chocolate cheesecake and tiramisu, because I couldn't decide.

Had the orange cream sickle and tiramisu flavors both were overwhelmingly sweet. Also 9 dollars for two very small cups.

They are not the same and can't even compare nor compete with Heejong's establishment. Hands down the best Korean GEM in our city. Pure and true authentic Korean! The rosé tteokbokki- is phenomenal and the literal best I've ever had. The wings and tenders are superior in every way- flavor, crunch, tenderness, and juiciness- than any damn CM chicken you've ever been to. Again this place is unreal and so unique it's not to be associated with these others. They're just not the same. "They not like us" vibes all day & night! Outstanding! We also tried the plum soju- we like soju and anime nights... and this was brilliant it's so tasty without being over or under in sweetness! Now.... For my favorite part- the experience only heightened how wonderful the food is. We walked into the place door was open, we had zero idea they were closed for a private event to watch the fifa World Cup (GOOOOOO South Korea!) and were in knee deep family style eating drinking and enjoying the match. We were going to leave but they all said NO, said let's watch the game- you want to watch? The owner said stay, and politely excused herself to the back to receive our order (didn't know she was the owner until later lol but I'm in tears on the inside cause no you sit down and eat your food we can leave but she wasn't having it!) They welcomed us in like family fed us so well even though I bought our meals- she was giving us special food she made for her family too- and that's just something that people don't do... so yes this place is so special and with such warm inviting good hearted people and a perfect energy... So if you go- be good, kind, and don't start no mess with my family lol cause we are family now, and I'll get you if you don't respect these rules alright! Again Heejung- so grateful for the amazing time and appreciate you letting us join you all! Chefs kiss hit em five times!!! (And yes the emojis make it better)

As there was just one person as a greeter, server and chief bottle washer, I waited for several minutes. When I was seated, the menu was promptly delivered. I came for the wings, so all I had to do was pick a flavor. I went with spicy garlic and an order of fries. Now, if you're a wing fan, you know they're often slathered in a sauce and can be quite messy. Well, Korean wings take it to a whole new level. These wings are crispy, sticky, messy and require a hose for cleanup. Two napkins and a wet nap just doesn't get it done. The wing order was very good. A mix of drums and flats. Served piping hot. And the spice level was enough to make my eyes water, but not so hot they weren't enjoyable. The side of fries was also excellent, some of the best I've had. Hot, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I rarely can't finish an order of fries, but these were a challenge. I failed. A small dish of pickled radishes accompanied the order. And the server also managed to find time to refill my soft drink. So, why not 5 stars? First acknowledge CM is not fast food. On average, based on the other tables, orders seemed to take 20 minutes. So. After a 10-15 minute wait, the fries were brought to the table. And I waited, assuming the wings would quickly follow. I was as mistaken. It was another 10 minutes before the wings were served. In the end, the disjointed service didn't diminish the meal. But better timing would certainly have improved it. Along with a damp washcloth to wash off the sticky stuff.

So why just 3 stars? Attitude. The server was indifferent to the point of rude. I felt she was doing me a favor by taking my order. She turned her back to me, believing her cell phone was more important than a customer. She never offered ketchup. Must have been too much trouble. Overall this DQ was clean. But there were no paper towels in the restroom dispenser. And both restrooms had "caution" signs as maintenance was being performed. There's no reason to close down both rooms at the same time. I came in looking forward to a simple chili cheese dog and fries, planning to finish my lunch with a banana split. Unfortunately, that was not meant to be. The young woman at the register never said a single word to me and wore a frown that would have made the Grinch proud. I don't know what she may have been going through, but I do know she was clearly not trained to handle the register. She handed me my receipt without comment, and I stepped aside to allow other customers to order. Next, a family of five tried to place an order, and things went completely off the rails. After nearly 10 minutes of confusion, a man came out from the back to try to fix the situation. About five minutes later, I received my food--only to discover the order was wrong. Somehow, my order had been entered as two chili dog meals with fries and a bottled water. I checked my receipt and, yes, I had paid for it--my mistake for not reviewing it earlier. Still, I definitely did not order two combo meals, and there was no cheese. I stood near the counter hoping to get someone's attention, but as more customers piled in and the chaos grew, I gave up and returned to my table. When there was finally a break in the line, I approached the cashier and asked for cheese on my hot dogs, which the receipt clearly showed I had paid for. She told me she didn't know how to do that. I suggested that some cheese in a food boat would be fine. She just stared at me. At that point, I knew I'd met my match. I went back to my table and watched as customer after customer struggled to order. Eventually, the same gentleman came out again and took over, quickly getting things back on track. By then, I had completely lost interest in the banana split I originally came for. The only redeeming factor was that the food itself was actually good. Today's experience reminded me why I usually avoid fast food. I can only blame my momentary craving for a banana split for overriding my better judgment.
