This is our go to treat place in the neighborhood. What can be better on a warm evening than riding…read morebikes, or walking, to "Ivan's" for a yummy gelato cone? How about bringing a tupperware container and getting it filled with 8 different flavors? Or what about having an affogato for lunch? Mmmm... all of it is great here. The guys are all friendly... even when it takes a while to decide among all the wonderful flavors. :-P The only sad time is when they close for a couple of months in winter.

If it weren't in our neighborhood we probably wouldn't make a special trip - there's nothing extraordinary about this place - but it's always a tempting stop when we happen to be strolling by. When the weather is nice there's usually a line, but their counter service does an admirable job working fast to keep everyone happy. I can't speak for their in-house dining. My only complaint about the takeaway experience is there are tables lined up all along the open storefront, more often than not occupied by happily smoking patrons; stale cigarette smoke & gelato don't go together exceptionally well in my experience, but grabbing a cone to go has never done me wrong. TL;DR: Nothing to write home about, but a very decent little neighborhood scoop shop.
