Best gelato ever! The owners have a wonderful family rich in the history of this old historical town. Won best Fior di Latte ice cream in the world for 2014. Fior di latte - Italian for flower of milk (or just plain vanilla to us Americans); add a scoop of their wild strawberry, sorbetto fragola selvaggio (when in season) my favorite!!! Their pistachio is outstanding (a number one seller) far exceeded my husbands expectations (his favorite overall). Stracciatella and mango should not be missed either. Needless to say we tasted many flavors, all excellent), stopping by once, sometimes twice a day, several days in a row. Absolutely worth a stop. Beautiful presentation with all gelato sitting in vats not out on display. Prices are very fair as well. Highly recommend trying the sbrisolona gelato if they have it - it's a delicious creamy icecream with biscuit pieces rippled throughout. They also have a nice selection of sorbet! read more

Do try espresso with ice cream, topped with the freshest whipped cream. I know, it may sound over the top, but is so so good. I'm ready to fly back to Italy just to have it again.
