Tyler form the Home owner insurance call center was rude and condescending, I have a new policy and I'm going to cancel after that phone call. Just like car salesman, willing to tell you want you want to hear when signing up but buyers remorse sets in when you try and get someone on the phone for help after the sale. If you have other options I would check them first before giving this little lizard any money. Costly mistake on my part, now I will go back to a broker. Let me 1st say The local Florida Geico have had no personal interaction with any office in Florida So I cannot say anything negative or positive about them!! But on the phone Geico!!! If could give no stars I would but Yelp won't let me Just moved from NJ to Florida been a long time customer in NJ No Accidents, No DUI's No points No claims !!! Very Clean Driving Record!!! So in NJ was paying $243.00 a month Came to Florida called Geico had just paid on 2/18/21 $ 436.02 that was due on 3/1/21 to get the bill out of the way So while on the phone with the agent said, just moved to Florida have an appointment for new plates registration and license on 2/22/21. So going to need new insurance cards to reflect the Florida address And what's the new price I am quoted $928.00 per month I'm like are you kidding? NJ is the highest in the country for Auto Insurance and I have a clean license and no accidents So called State Farm got a quote for $220.00 a month Took it!!! And it's for better coverage So call Geico told have to cancel bc of the outrageous price So the Agent Mike says that's doesn't sound right He gets an Florida agent they do the numbers and they were correct so we canceled I asked about my refund I had some money due from February and being paid Geico early I have a good amount of refund so he calculated told me my refund would be $244.86 said that's all? Asked ok, when will I see that in my bank account he said 3/5 business days So I said by 2/26 would be the latest He says Yes!!! So this morning I called Geico being in day 4 of the 3/5 days to see about my refund I speak with someone named Shaniqua explained the situation She says oh your refund I see $1.16 has been processed should be receiving it in 10 business days I'm WHAT!!! No That is wrong the amount, the date Ask to speak to supervisor given ( Robyn ) I'm now told my refund is going to be $243.26 and I will Have the remaining bulk of it week of March 8. So I said wait why is this taking so long they gave me this big story about a mistake made that I'm going to get to $1.16 on March 1st and the balance Week of 3/8 I said why am I being penalized for your mistake well that's just the way it is and this is the customer service that Geico gives they very easily quick to take it out of my account but refunds are another story. I am so disheartened by Geico I never want to use them again truthfully I think the amounts that they're offering are off but I don't know I just can't deal with it I just want my money back I wanna go be with State FarmWho gave me this wonderful price and the heck with Geico I just want my money back I'm going to try back at 10:30 when the shifts of the supervisors change and I don't want Robyn back Because while I was on the phone with her not only was she rude but she acted like I was interrupting her instead of giving me quality customer service I mean I don't know what happened to them they used to be really good at least they were up north in NJ down here in Florida they suck read more

I can't even give Geico Auto Insurance ONE star! So the one star that I HAD to give is to only be able to post this review! LOL. Up north I had Liberty Mutual for years. They provided great service with NO problems. After being with Geico for a year here in Florida I have had several issues, and the latest drives me to find a new provider. So I cancelled my motorcycle policy back ion May because I sold it. While I was on the phone with the agent (agent on speaker phone, my wife listening) the last question I asked was "Do I owe anything else on this policy?" She said, No, you are all set...So today I receive a notice from collections that I owe $33.06. I call collections and their explanation is that sometimes when you cancel a vehicle there can be other fees like maybe losing a multi-vehicle discount that they may tack on after the fact. Terrible way to do business. I paid Geico the $33.06 and I am now looking for a new provider. Geico will be with at least one less customer thanks to their lousy customer service and shady business. After calling several places I was very frustrated nobody was able to find me a good rate insurance. Sooo James called me because of the quote I did online the previous day he was very nice with me but he first gave me once price got me excited and then tell me it was a different one it's okay I've been in the car business for about 4 years now I understand how insurance companies works but today I just realized I'm enrolled in a DriveEasy program that he never took the time to explain and that program record my driving and that can potentially increase my monthly payment and if I'm in somebody else's car I need to change the record to set that I'm the passenger because if that person is a reckless driver and I keep the record as I am the driver is goin to count on my driving record. Very upset and disappointed wish he would had explained that to me. As soon as I complete the six months policy I'm canceling!!!! Not fair at all read more
