It reminded me of a princess's dressing room (and boy does she have good taste!) No two items are the same and they choose only the finest quality vintage outfits, none of that run of the mill 'I'll have to sew that here, and take that up there' nonsense. They not only sell vintage but also designer and upcoming labels which are all mixed together on the rails, hanging lovingly side by side could be a stunning designer dress and a 1920s vintage piece. The price ranges are as varied as the styles with dresses ranging from £20 to around £500 so everyone has the opportunity to buy their little piece of unique clothing! The accessories were amazing, they had headbands, brooches, rings, earrings... all sorts of little gems that would be great as gifts or as a personal treat, now these were the real bargains, all carefully handpicked and oh so cheap. Forget the common Topshop dresses and the outfit clashes and purchase some top quality threads from a boutique that will make you feel like royalty. It's three floors of high end designer products. I felt scruffy going in with my mates but the friendly staff made sure I felt welcome. The Dressing Room stocks a beautiful collection of clothes accessories and jewellery which is not easily found in town, there's a real sense of style in here and the window displays are consistently alurring. The prices are not extortionate and considering the convenience of the store, are actually very reasonable. The staff, in my experience, are variable: some days they're friendly, some days not, but they're only human and everybody has an off day! I would say this shop has a particular target audience: young fashionable females, and I don't think the mechandise will appeal to all of the local ladies.

The woman who owns it is really helpful and not a all pushy like in some places. I think she would rather get the repeat business which is a refreshing change. It is hit and miss though with what she has in, and she only has a few of each size in which is a good thing as not everyone will be wearing the same not so good if your size is already sold. The coats and cardigans that she sells are reasonably priced and really good quality. The ultimate is the corsets, these are pricy but definately worth it.
