Our work truck broke down by there shop so we took it there they had it a few weeks said it was fixed drove it a mile down the road did the same thing it died took it back to them that was 1200 to not fix they had for 3 months and charged us 2100 drove it over 200 miles left it on empty and now the ac doesn't work will not use them ever again read more

They have definitely treated me right. I blew my engine just outside of Lamar headed to Springfield. They got my truck towed into their shop and checked it over. The engine was seized up and needed to be replaced. They got me another engine and I was back driving in under a week. They actually came in under their estimate. Paid over $3,000 for repairs on both my vehicles. They claimed they had an alignment on both my vehicles and now they drive worse than before. Brian claimed they fixed the a.c. in my truck and replaced the belt and etc. The belt was apparently messed up cause it slipped off the other day and now Gearhead's refuses to fix it. I paid a lot of money to them to fix my vehicles and they refuse to treat me right now. I will never go to them again. read more

We got stuck on the freeway headed from Kansas City to Shell Nob when the car quit. Luckily the tow truck driver recommended Gearheads, because they were fantastic! The owner drove us to the hotel by the freeway, went back and worked way past their usual closing time so we could have our car done by morning. We were desperate to get it done fast because hotels for miles were booked for the next night because of some once a year convention in Carthage. This is the first time we've had a car worked on that my husband (a Mechanic) didn't have to re-fix later when he had access to his own garage. He said their prices were more than fair (he never says that!) and by talking to them he knew they really knew what they were doing. read more
