My lady bought a 2017 ford explorer from this dealer and the dealer just "forgot" to mention that the vehicle was previously in 2 accidents and stolen!! If we knew all this we wouldn't have bought it. so as we are trying to get a new vehicle and sell it, no dealerships will take it and we are taking a huge loss. We called the Mike Carpino and asked if they could do anything to make it right and they didn't care or try, take your hard earned money somewhere else where customers are cared for and put into vehicles that have no previous problems/ and or told about them before the purchase. Very smooth Mike Carpino you gained a hater and lost my business and anyone who i can convince not to go here!!

I did have a couple of issues however. 1. My wife spoke to the shop most of the time. I only spoke once and was asked what to do with the molded running boards that were damaged and removed from the truck. I told them I didn't want them and to dispose of them. Didn't happen. They were in the bed of the truck when I picked it up and I had to do the disposing. 2. When I ordered the new running (nerf) bars I asked them not to order anything else if the product I wanted wasn't in stock . I was assured that this didn't happen at this shop. Long story short, I still have the wrong running boards on my truck because they ordered something else when my boards weren't in stock. 3. Finally, I asked that the holes where the old running boards were mounted be sealed to prevent rust. I was told this would happen after the new ones were mounted. Again, this never happened. Great body work, customer service could use work.

I went in early morning to get an appointment to fix a door panel that would come loose and hang…read moreup the door opening, but was asked to leave the car. Car was not even looked at until after 2pm. At 3pm I called to say I had an URGENT need of my car and would need to pick it up.I was told the door panel was being done at that very moment, So I said finish that but skip the other things I mentioned that was just control panel lights and I would be in to WAIT for the car to be finished. A half hour later I arrived to wait for the car and when I walked in the gal said "what are you doing here, the car is not finished' I said I was just there to wait for it to be finished. The mechanic came in and said the fix would not last more than a week because I caused him to not let the epoxy dry long enough. I did wait 3 days after that before using the door to let it dry but still just as he said it didn't last more than 3 days despite letting it dry 3 days first The very bad part is when I left the shop my car died twice in 4 blocks home and acted like it had something put in the gas tank. A week later the car is still dying constantly. It was running great when I took it in. the problem with the dying was immediately after leaving their auto shop. It has never died before and ran great. I had an urgent reason for needing my car after it being in the shop 5 hours. I still don't understand their hostility to me nor why the fix didn't work nor why my car now dies constantly. never had such a horrible experience in any other auto shop through many decades of having car repairs. I am out the money, door panel is still a problem and now my car needs to have another auto shop repair for the very sudden problem that developed while in their shop.

So after 5 years of doing business this this dealership their true colors show. I recommend that…read moreany looking to buy a vehicle new or used do not use any of the Mike Carpino dealerships. They do not stand behind their word. I was a loyal customer and over the last few years I purchased 3 trucks from them. The Most recent was a 2018 f150. 10 days after I purchased the truck the transmission went out. This is no falt to them. I did purchase a extended warranty that covered the repair. After being in the shop for almost 2 months I finally got my truck back. I drove it around for about a week everything seemed fine So I hooked up my travel trailer and took off on vacation made to almost Dallas from Missouri and that transmission blew a seal and lost all the fluid. This left me broke down on the Hwy. The fluid covered my travel trailer costing me Almost 500 dollars to get it cleaned a hotel cost me 125 bucks while waiting on a friend to come tow my truck back to the dealership this was another 200 in fuel Robby From the dealership said he would take care of that but never did. Then the timming components went out and needed to be replace my warranty paid for this repair also. While they were doing the repairs ii asked them to install new spark plugs. Everything seemed fine then a week later I got a check engine light that was a miss fire. I went a local shop and found out they did not replace the spark plugs there were 3 different brands of plugs in the truck, so I was out the expense of replacing the plugs that they said they did. No this week I have found an oil leak on the valve covers from when the timing components were replaced. I call the dealership explaned what i found. The service department advised me that it would be cover under warranty because of the prior work preformed. So off the the dealership 2 hrs away I go and drop off my truck. 5 hours later I get a call saying they would not cover the oil leak because it has been over 12k miles so another 4 hours of driving to go get my truck. Waisted 8 hours of my time for my truck not to get fixed..... I am done and want everyone to know how this dealership operates

Three days went by I called the salesperson back and asked if they still had the truck in stock I wanted to purchase I was told he would have to check with the manage and would call me back. I asked to speak with someone who could sell me a vehicle and I got the same salesperson the previous two attempts to buy a truck and was blown off. This was at the Parsons location. I ended up going about 35 minutes to another town, called them and I got the truck I wanted to buy the next business day. I tried to do business here locally but apparently the local dealership isn't interested in selling vehicles.
