She was an extremely articulate and humorous speaker who seemed to really know her stuff and I was to find out when it really mattered that my first impression was spot on. A few months after attending the presentation, I unfortunately let another consultant convince me to use him as he was claiming Ms. Risner was far too busy to give me her full attention and good service but it turned out to be him that would drop the ball in so many ways it was ridiculous!! Luckily when I needed advice regarding the previous choices I made, I remembered her comments and her encouragement to give her a call even if she was not my consultant and she'd be sure to give me her best thinking so I called her, made an appointment, met with her just this past week and I sure am glad I did! When we met at her office, she was completely 100% invested in what I needed which was advice regarding my Part D Medicare Drug plan which had changed drastically after I had renewed it during the past open enrollment. She was so engaged that not only did she help me with my Part D issues, she also noticed that I would save money on my Medigap premium if I was willing to consider changing plans as is allowed with the Medigap plans & so by going with her suggestion, she saved me $28.44 a month on my remaining nine monthly premiums because she noticed the alternative plan that was almost identical to the one I originally chose but had experienced a 7.7% decrease in the premium cost with the only change being that I would be responsible for the full or partial $185 deductible if any of it was not paid (which it turned out was paid in full in January due to a lot of medical charges that had already gone through.) She took her time, gave me her full attention, and expertly showed me the plan coverage, and even documentation of the price decrease. Also, she even confirmed that no additional underwriting would be necessary if I chose to stay with my current plan provider. She answered every question I had and didn't rush me nor did she make me feel badly about asking lots of questions as I was a bit confused about the change at first. Today when I called the plan provider they confirmed every single thing Ms. Risner had told me as well as confirmed the total cost savings of $256. That is quite a savings!! If you need someone to help you make good decisions regarding healthcare insurance and Medicare issues, look no further than Teresa Risner and her company LTC Advisors. I'll be referring all my friends and neighbors to her!!

Prior to his passing, we both decided to seek a different accountant because Andrea consistently increased her fees by approximately $200-$250 each year. As noted in Kathy's review, I experienced the same issue. In 2021, Andrea charged $900. In 2022, despite the minimal work required, she charged $950. Two weeks later, I received an additional bill for $700. After receiving numerous hostile letters from her office threatening to send me to collect, I sought the advice of another accountant. That professional concluded that I had been significantly. Overcharged. I requested an itemized bill detailing the time spent on both years's tax returns, but Andrea was unable to provide one. The only documentation she supplied was a general invoice. She also claimed to have had multiple phone conversations with my father. When I requested the dates and times of those calls, she was unable to provide them. Her justification was that she. Had a sighed contract with my father. When I asked to see a copy of the contract, I was told it had been shredded. Based on these experience, I believe WR & Associates operate in an unprofessional manner. I have forwarded all correspondence with Andrea to both the Better Business Bureau (BBB).and the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation DBPR). Additionally, I observed that she has relocated her office three times in the past seven years. Each time she moves, her reviews appear to be erased. This pattern is also evident when examining her Facebook reviews. In summary, my experience with Andrea Newman and WR & Associates has been extremely negative. I found her to lack both integrity and professionalism. She grossly overcharges clients and, when questioned, resorts to threats rather than providing evidence.
