One of our three garage doors (#2) needed help - had a little "fender bender" on it and it was in bad shape. Called GDM because they were close. Chris said he could stop and take a look the next morning. He showed up when he said he would and quickly inspected it. Said he could adjust it on-the-spot and we were so glad. He then said not to get too happy because #1 had a broken spring! I couldn't believe I had not noticed it before but there it was - in TWO pieces. He said he may have a set of springs on the truck - he would check. Sure enough. Our lucky day - he had a set with him. He installed a new set of springs for door #1 and tightened up a number of screws, adjusted some other brackets, etc. , on all three doors. He also sprayed a lubricating treatment on all moving pieces on all doors. All three doors are now running quiet and smooth. We cannot believe our good luck picking GDM off the list on-line. Don't trust somebody else. This guy knows just what the heck is going on for these doors. He turned a lousy day into a great day for us. Thanks so much, Chris. Chris came out the very first day that I called him and readjusted my 35 year old garage door at a very reasonable price. I decided to have Chris come back and install a garage door opener after he gave me some great advice on saving money on the best brand out there. Chris scheduled the work to be done in that same week and came back the day before thanksgiving. I bought the fancy belt drive unit with Wi-Fi capability and an 8' garage door extension for the taller door. Chris actually had the installation done in two hours, and WOW does that work great now. Where do I get started... We were referred to GDM's owner (he'll remain nameless) by a friend of ours little did we know it would be a nightmare. We were looking to simply install a new garage door. At first the owner came over and quoted us a reasonable price, we happily agreed. The owner came over to begin work on a job he said would take a few hours. After a couple of hours he alerted us he needed to get different tools. Our old garage door was completely off and he didn't return. Not only did he not return that day but he didn't answer our calls either. We had no way to secure the things in our garage over night. We had to move valuable things inside the house as we couldn't get ahold of the owner for 2 more days. Finally we did and he simply said he was "busy", he returned that day to "finish the job". When my wife questioned why he ghosted us the owner lost his mind. He became very aggressive and combative with my wife and essentially got into a shouting match. I was in the house on a business call and had to end my call and see what childish chaos was happening in my garage. We fired GDM on the spot but not before more aggressive behavior and threats. Finally he left without anything getting physical, GDM then attempted to charge us 415% more than he originally quoted us. We already paid him half the money for the next parts etc. We had to find a new company to come finish the job. If he wants to go to court I'd rather pay my lawyer 10x as much instead of giving GDM another penny. I wouldn't recommend GDM to anyone, the owners lack of class and ethics are shocking. If you're thinking about spending money on a new garage door (or any services via GDM) you're better off lighting that money on fire instead. read more

They called back within 15 minutes and repaired the garage door springs the same day! Super fast, super friendly, very professional, and did the job right the first time! Outstanding in every way!
