They had such a quick turn around and were able to finish it in less than a week. I was happy with the cost as well because going in I was expecting to spend 4x more than I was actually charged. Upon picking it up today, I'm FLOORED at the attention to detail and the quality of work. It is beautiful! The color pops, and no amount of photos or videos do it justice. I'm very impressed, and highly recommend.

First, they didn't speak to me or announce their intentions when they first arrived. They just blocked me in my driveway and started working. They tried to leave me blocked in my driveway over night and I had to call in to get things moved after they'd taken off without telling me. They didn't cover anything in the space beneath the roof and lots of debris fell in, trashing and almost causing significant damage to everything underneath. The yard they left a mess and despite saying they would clean it up, never did. Including sharp metal pieces and nails, not only did I get a flat tire from a fresh roofing nail after they were done, but I picked up by hand well in excess of 100 brand new roofing nails. I had to go buy my own magnet to have any sense of confidence that I could use my driveway again. The crew tried to cut corners skipping things that were agreed to, and the things they did do, they did poorly. I had to call them back for almost everything they touched because it was worse than when they started (yes, I had new leaks in my new roof in places that didn't have issues before they started). They also left things clearly in poor condition, gaps between wood structures they'd "repaired", warped boards with no support, the roof had obvious depressions and dents where repairs and new shingles were laid. Different people would show up for other parts of the job at random times without warning and some wouldn't even know what they were doing there. I really shouldn't have to explain what roofing and repair work needs to be done, that should've been handled internally at the company. When I spoke with the crew on the phone they were not receptive to my issues and were aggressive and disrespectful. I really liked the folks in the office and wanted to support a local business but be wary. Might of just been the crew I got, but it was a remarkably unpleasant experience.

For some reason I can't write a review on Google so hopefully this will still be seen. Horrible,…read morehorrible experience with these guys and I say avoid them like the plague. We just did a PCS from Ft Gordon, and we've been around this whole moving thing a few times so we're not strangers to the process. We're also not control freaks so we weren't breathing down anyone's neck or irritating them while they're trying to do their jobs, otherwise MAYBE I could understand how we were treated. Scott Heyman, VP of Sales did the walk-through with me, was perfectly friendly. Packers show up and mistreated/mishandled/packed incorrectly (we saved original boxes and styrofoam packaging) some pretty high-value items that we specifically warned them about ahead of time, and completely ignored many specific requests from my husband and I. I wish I was exaggerating-- I made eye contact with one guy and asked him a question and he literally turned around and walked away from me. Same guy (his name was Warren) was completely rude and grumpy from the moment he walked into our house. He packed up my kitchen, ignored my 2 requests about packing my knives and non-stick pans (even after reminding him a second time). While in the process of packing up the kitchen, he asked both my husband and I to reach down to the lower shelves and pick up dishes that he "couldn't get because he had back issues." Another guy needed my husband's help with something-- these are HUGE no-no's! The packers/movers are NEVER supposed to have the owners help because of liability issues. Never mind the fact that I was 7 months pregnant and Warren wants me bending down and grabbing dishes for him. What makes me so angry is that he bragged about being 68 years old and how he's been doing this work since before all of us were born...good for you buddy but it sounds like you need to be in another line of work if you're going to pull that crap. He knew every trick in the book and it was obvious that he was using them. Anyway this is just naming a FEW of the problems that happened on the first day-- I called Scott around lunch time to ask him a few questions for clarification (I.e. things that were not communicated to us) and he was incredibly snippy, rude, and condescending to me, not at all the same person who did the walk-through with me. Next day comes, no movers show up. I called Scott around 9:30am and I get the same rude and snippy tone that nobody would be coming today (also something that never was communicated to us). Overall everyone and everything was so shady with this company. I already made all the specifics known to the military but we will never be using them again if we can help it. Beware!!! Update in response to H&S's reply: Denali Group managed the move but obviously sub-contracted, as most moving companies do unless the move is local. If H&S/Mayflower was not associated with this move then why were the boxes labeled Mayflower, why did Scott do a walk-through for the move, why were all the movers/packers wearing H&S tshirts, and why did our belongings get loaded into a truck labeled 'Mayflower'? A couple pictures are attached for reference. I stand by my original review.

Make sure you watch the packers because me and my husband both had to tell them things that needed to be wrapped because they were literally throwing things in boxes not wrapped. They didn't mark boxes they were supposed too and our moving truck guy had to do it on his end. Some of the workers were lazy with what they could have fit in boxes but didn't want too. We needed up having to argue about several things and it was very unprofessional!! The guy that is charge of his packers when I tried to explain these things brushed off what I was saying and walked away saying he wasn't going to say or do anything VERY RUDE!! This is the worst company we have felt with in our 17 years of moving! I do not recommend you use them!!
