Hidden gem in a world of paella, jamón, and empanadas…read more Northern style pho (light broth with wide noodles) hit the spot on my trip to Madrid. Needed something light but flavorful without weighing me down. Got in there right when they opened and it clean, comfortable, with a few items from home. I ordered the chicken pho and my wife went for the beef. Each sip of the broth cleansed the pallette and the meat was cooked well. It is hard to compare pho to other dishes, but as it states on the menu, it is caldo (which I can see why). If you need something different and want to change it up in Madrid, give this spot a shot.

So strangely enough our last meal in Spain was Vietnamese. The spring rolls were fresh and tasty. However, I was not a fan of the pho. The broth may be more catered to the Spanish palate, but I found it extremely salty. I had to add lime and hot sauce to make it more palatable. I also thought it was one-note and lacking depth of flavor. The service was friendly and efficient. The food came out quickly and the ambience was upscale. I am not accustomed to white tablecloth and wine at a Vietnamese restaurant, but I guess that's how you roll in Spain. Overall, decent pho but too salty for my liking. Also a little pricey as compared to the Vietnamese food in the United States.

I would say its the best viet place in Madrid as the broth and offering was decent. The broth was rich but with a lot of salt and msg. They didn't provide Thai basil but the Italian version. IT also came with mint, cilantro, lime, and bean sprouts. The 'sriracha' is not the red rooster kind that we are accustomed to. This version was in a generic ketchup squeeze bottle. It was spicy but with a lot of vinegar. We shared the viet coffee over ice. It was really bitter and was really small portion for 3 euros. It was like the viet version of a espresso with condensed milk. Maybe I'm a fat American so I don't know. We 'made more of it by adding water so we both could have a taste. It was good to eat something different than tapas or a ham slice in a baguette.

When you're craving a warm bowl of pho on a cloudy, rainy day in Madrid this is the place to go(and…read moreeven noncloudy cold days)! From the moment you walk in you're greeted by the owner and promptly seated. The menu isn't extensive but all you really need is a warm bowl of this pho to fill your belly. Now the pho. Compared to San Francisco pho this pho is equally as good. Portion sizes are great, especially if you've spent all day walking around. The noodles are actually imported from France so you don't get those nasty noodles that you may have encountered if you've had pho at some other places. The beef is tender, the broth is filling and the spicy sauce makes your mouth water(if you like spicy, which I do!). This place is relatively new and the prices are reasonable for Madrid. At 8€ a bowl it's definitely worth your money if you're craving some authentic pho. I would definitely recommend this place. P.S. the bowl of pho also comes with meatballs but I prefer just the beef. Enjoy!

Arrived 15 min before opening and there was already a line. Made it in on the first seating which was great. Was asked to visit their bar first as they slowly made their way through bringing people in to the restaurant to dine. Felt pressured ot order a drink, which I didn't really want to, so I didn't like this flow of entry to bar, to restaurant. Fortunately the drinks were tasty and very theatrical. Was eventually escorted into the restaurant. Seating is like a giant oval around an open kitchen. Energy is electric, loud, stimulating. Almost feels like your dining outside in a street food alley with neon signs everywhere. The food consisted of fusion and/or modern interpretations of street food classics from across Asia, and other parts of the world too. Highlights for us included the crudo japo-mexican de salmon and chili crab concha blanda. We did find that there was a high degree of citrus and thought that the tako de pulpo was a bit too acidic. For the bun cha shawarma, the noodles were okay but the beef burger and crispy Vietnamese rolls were yummy.

The Techno music is loud so just be aware of that. I loved it and couldn't stop dancing in my seat. It is first come first serve. Regis told me to go as soon as they opened. Even then, we got one of the last seatings by the bar where all the action is. It was so much fun seeing all the chefs and sous chefs shouting and working in harmony. Our server was amazing in recommending many of the dishes and drinks. I also got a kick out of their cool straight jacket chef's attire. One word to describe the food here; it is very avant-garde (Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, Thai, Singapore). Our favorite dish of the night was the Vieira Asada (scallop with a green sauce). Honestly, I don't think you will go wrong with any of the items on the menu. Love how they describe each dish as they present it to you. I also never had the bartender come by and take the time to describe the drink in great detail. Truly an amazing unique meal from start to finish. I do recommend that you get a bit dressed up. And don't forget to take a fun selfie on the leather cushion swings. 10/10 Experience

We shared the Chickweed, marinated asparagus, breaded artichoke and Romesco sauce appetizer (€9) to start, a wonderfully curated dish with perfectly breaded and fried artichokes (not too oily), impeccably marinated asparagus and some leaves (chickweed), with a fantastic Romesco sauce. Fantastic starter. Then we shared two mains -- the Bolognese Lasagna (€13) and Shimenji Mushooms Long Sandwich (€12.5). The lasagna was extremely decadent, smothered in smoked bechamel sauce -- the inside had seitan, some veggies, a passata (tomato) sauce, and served with some parmesan-like crackers. This was almost a bit too over-the-top, but in small amounts (split between two of us), it worked well. The sandwich was simple but excellent -- wonderfully textured shimenjis carry this dish, along with the vegan garlic mayo, fresh arugula and tomato. The bread was fresh and fluffy too. Very friendly service. Great place to hang out and enjoy a long, leisurely meal. Highly recommended.

The pad Thai is pretty authentic and it came with additional items to give it more flavor such as raw bean sprouts and onions. I really enjoyed the noodles and the fried rice was delicious. Highly recommend coming here for an Asian fix and to also make a reservation. The menu items were quite interesting and would come back to try other items if I had more time.
