I contacted Mr. Quinn's office to inquire about what he may be able to do to help a friend with his…read morecurrent situation. I left a voicemail and received a return call from Mr. Quinn's secretary/wife. She was extremely pleasant and understanding. She informed me that she would have Mr. Quinn investigate the information and give me a call back. I, in turn, let her know that I was at work and would not be permitted to use my phone, but I could text once I receive a call back and voicemail. She agreed that this was o.k. and we hung up. I received a voicemail message from Mr. Quinn in which he informed me that he normally charges $500 to go to the prison but that I was lucky because he was heading up there anyway and would stop by and speak to my friend, which he did. He also informed me that he would charge me $2,000 to represent him. On May 26th Mr. Quinn left me another voicemail message stating that he would be sending me a text and I would need to text him to let him know if my friend wanted to hire him. I responded that we would not need his services and was under the impression that my dealings with Mr. Quinn were over but on the evening of May 26, 2022, at 4:59p Mr. Quinn left another very hurtful, and disrespectful message. He said things to play my friend and I against one another. My friend told Mr. Quinn it is all in God's hands and he said F---- God. He also stated that "She (me) has the money to pay me, but she just doesn't care about you, or if you spend more time in jail or go up state." He told him to call me and get the money because if he did not, he would be going up state for a long time and said he knew the Judge and had a great relationship with her, so we needed to hire him". Mr. Quinn was rude and saying things that completely do not line up to my character and who I am as a person. Do not hire this man!!!!!!

I had an excellent experience working with Leslie Margolies as my real estate lawyer. From start to…read morefinish, she was diligent, fair, and incredibly knowledgeable. I especially appreciated that her fee structure was transparent and removed a lot of stress from the process. She consistently reassured me that she had my back and made me feel completely at ease. It was clear that she genuinely cared about my case and about me as a client. Her experience showed in every step, and she always made sure I felt comfortable and confident in the decisions being made. Knowing she was on my side made all the difference. I'm very grateful for her support and would highly recommend her to anyone needing a trustworthy and experienced real estate attorney. Thank you to The Real Estate Law Group.

I hired Leslie to handle a lease compliance issue for my Section 8 rental property. Unfortunately,…read morethe experience was extremely disappointing. Communication was very poor--responses to emails and calls took several days with deadlines approaching or did not come at all, leaving me unable to make timely decisions. Important deadlines were missed, resulting in delayed filings that extended the eviction process over a year and caused approximately $15,000 in lost rent per month. Her advice did not adequately address Section 8/HUD requirements, which led to tenants' counterclaims and additional compliance hurdles and extra legal costs with the housing authority. Overall, the representation fell far short of what I expected from a real estate attorney handling landlord-tenant matters. I spent significant time and money with little progress, and ultimately had to seek new counsel to resolve the issue. I am sharing this review so other landlords, particularly those with Section 8 tenants, can make a more informed choice.
