The food - all local produce - will be imaginatively prepared in Austrian nouvelle style, but try and hold on for the sensational puddings - particularly the lovely heidelbeern (known locally as moosbeern and to me as myrtille)- pudding - but you'll have to be there in summer to get it. The local wines are absolutely delicious and although you will find plenty of the now internationally fashionable white Grüner Veltliner, try the red Zweigelt -Johann Topf or others - as well. This is a place for a very long weekend.
