During the last week of June and into the first week of July MCG employees began the installation…read moreof fiber optic on my street (tuttle street OTTUMWA IOWA ).During this process they bored holes dug a pit beside and under the sidewalk in front of my home. The workers used two pieces of self propelled equipment for this task and at the south end of my property they bored under and sat their equipment on my sidewalk resulting in the cracking and breaking of over eighteen feet of the side walk . I made two phone calls to the local MCG office and after verifying to the lady that it sign on the trucks said MCG she assured me that they would take care of the problem and repair the damage , the second phone conversation was withe a different lady and after I explained the situation to her I asked her if she could put me in contact with someone from the main office in Oskaloosa and she said not to worry that the damage would be repaired and that she would pass this on to the office in Oskaloosa . After several days I noticed MCG trucks in front of the damaged area with men and equipment and when I went out there they had removed about seven feet of sidewalk from the far end of my property but not the part that they had bored under and the crack sidewalk to the north of it. I asked one of the workers what they were going to do and he stated they were going to replace this piece of sidewalk and I asked what about the rest of the damage area and he said no just this piece. I then told them to stop and to get someone from management there and they said that they would do so. A few minutes later another truck pulls up and a guy gets out and speaks to the workers then walks up to where I am standing and he says hello we are not going to fix that we didnt break and my guy didnt drive on it. I him if they were not going to do a proper repair to leave and after leaving one orange cone on the sidewalk they all left. then a day or two later thay sent two other guys to my house and when they told me that they were only paid to repair the one small section that was removed I asked them to leave. So now I am left paying over $900.00 dollors out of my pocket to repair my sidewalk that was unbroken before MCG showed up .And by the way my neighbor lady told me that she had seen MCG`S equipment setting on my sidewalk as well as my wife also seen it .

He also waxed the linoleum and cleaned the concrete entrance way. The carpet was very dirty from heavy usage from the adjoining warehouse and a lot of dirt got into the carpets.
