They congratulated me on my wedding and asked about it, they were so friendly and kind. We went with a baby pink color for both my nails (shellac) and toes (regular nail polish). I went to Luisa e Flavia Salon at recommendation of my hotel. Tina did my hair - I wish I could take her back home with me! I also loved the whole vibe of the salon. Lots of local women bustling about and talking. Getting nails and hair done at the same time and chatting away. Tina was right on time for my appointment. I was a few minutes early too. She was quick - hair done in 55 minutes. She's very sweet. I highly recommend Tina!!! But I also saw other women getting blow outs and they looked fab.

The staff was warm and friendly and said that they could accommodate this walk-in. Yes, success! Admittedly, I was a bit nervous about the hair-styling not only because my command of the Italian language is not awesome but also because one never knows who to trust with the hair! But, I figured that since this was only a wash and blow-dry, it wouldn't cause any irreversible problem so I stayed and I am so glad I did! During my brief wait for a stylist, I perused the salons offering of beauty products which included some divine and exclusive perfumes...as a self-proclaimed perfume connoisseur, this can only mean trouble for me! But the good kind of trouble! The products they used on my hair, while I have no idea what they are, smelled delicious. And, the woman who styled my hair was very nice and somewhat maternal. It sounds like a strange way to describe a person but I just simply felt like I was in good hands with her. She spoke about as much English as I speak Italian so we said very little to one another but we somehow seemed to understand each other. I love when that happens! I understand, from the woman who checked me in, that the salon is jointly owned by her and her mother (Luisa e Flavia) and it was very obvious that she likes what she does for a living. The salon was steadily bustling with all manner of women and everyone seemed genuinely happy. My hair looked and felt amazing and I was very pleased with the service at this salon. I checked-out with great hair along with a couple of those exquisite perfumes and, whenever I use them, I fondly reminisce of my great experience at Luisa e Flavia and of the wonderful town of Positano.

Enif. DO NOT GO HERE. A Trap!…read more I sent my daughters to get their hair colored and styled. Prices weren't negotiated before (expecting the standard 80-100 Euro max typical of Italy). I received a phone call from my 14 year old stating they needed money because they were being "held" there until they paid 350 Euros. Long story short, they hotel manager escorted me to the hair salon and "negotiated" with the salon until the police came. Yes, the police had to come to settle the dispute. It was a long drawn out ordeal, my girls didn't get to eat during the whole time there (close to 6 hours). Their hair did look good but it wasn't they way they were expecting it to come out and one of my daughters stated they ended up getting hair dye in her eye. There are plenty of choices in Naples to have your hair professionally "done", just don't choose Enif.

There are over 20 thermal pools ranging in different temperatures, which all sit in a vast property that sits right on the beach and alongside a beautiful hill. There are two restaurants available to guests to choose from and enjoy, a boutique to shop at, and spa that offers services like massages, facials, etc. I got myself a massage and it was great. I wish I could have spent longer at the resort to be able to check out all the different pools. I definitely recommend this place to others who plans to visit the island of Ischia... the only downfall is getting to the island for those who are prone to motion sickness. It is a 50 minute boat ride from Naples.

It was worth every cent and we totally enjoyed our day. The property is well kept and really pretty with all the plants. Everything was very clean. Prices in the cafe were reasonable. Only 2.50 for cappuccino so they weren't trying to take advantage of you. You do need a bathing cap for the pools but they sell them for $2.50. We enjoyed our day and would highly recommend.
