NOPE. Leaving town tomorrow (Saturday) morning. I'm still looking for a knife but I'm not sure this guy wants my money. We'll see if he's open tomorrow but I doubt it given the irregular schedule.

My wife and I were traveling from Anchorage to Homer while visiting from Wilmington NC and passed…read morethis shop on the way. We didn't have time to stop so we planned to stop back on our way back on Sunday. After reviewing his website we learned he was a third generation knife maker and didn't open on Sundays till 1 pm. We knew we would be coming through earlier so we were a little bummed we may miss him. I found Paul's number and sent him a text. He called me immediately and setup a special time for us to stop in on our way back. We were very excited he would do this. On Sunday 1/19 we stopped in about 12:15 pm and greeted us as we walked in. He showed us different knives and showed us around his shop. My wife and I love to cook so we were in the market for kitchen knives. After looking around and explaining what we wanted he said he could make it. He doesn't technically take orders and you don't pay for anything till it's made. He will basically make the type of knives we want when he is in the process of making a batch of knives and he will text me to see if I want any of them. He doesn't take "orders" because he wants to make what he wants then sell them. He doesn't want to be tied to an order book. I ordered 2 knives and will order a third soon. I would like 1 to pass down to my three kids. If your in the area please stop by his shop. You won't t be disappointed!! Or check it his facebook page. He has lots of videos of his knives

Just a few word that pop into my head when I think about this place. Su is a darling collector with great taste and this shop is her treasure box! Everywhere you look is something sparkly and unique. I could spend hours in this store rummaging in the corners, going through boxes, and discovering badass treasure all day! It's a one-of-a-kind shop that seems out of place in such a small Alaskan town. It's like something I would find in San Francisco. GOTTA CHECK THIS SHOP OUT!

I have gotten tops, dresses, shoes, two vests, and even a hand bag at Curtain Call, it's hard to resist when the price is right! All of the price tags have 50% off dates on them so if you're willing to wait you might get an even better deal, as long as someone else doesn't get it first! The only downfalls are no men's clothes and they're only open Fridays and Saturdays but I can't blame them for either-life's busy and fashion conscious men in Kenai might be a hard market to run a business on.

I first came across this store years ago looking for TCG options and was pleasantly surprised at…read morethe time of their selection. It has since become a must visit anytime we're in town spending time with family. I don't have updated photos so I just uploaded a few of the photos we took from a while ago. I'll be sure to update them when we visit this summer. The shop is clean and tidy and things are very easy to navigate and find. Staff is pretty friendly there and willing to give gift suggestions as well as explaining TCG offerings and what's coming soon. Very helpful and easy to talk to. The front part of the store has tons of toys, gifts, educational toys, and games. I truly feel that if you have a young one, you should stop in and check out their offerings as it is extremely huge. The back of the store is dedicated more toward more mainstream toys, models, and trading cards. It's been extremely nice seeing them grow their selection over the years. We recently got into MTG and were pleasantly surprised to find their commander deck selection and pack/box selection fairly well stocked and I have even found a few commander decks to add to my collection. If you're into collectibles and trading cards, this place is a must stop as the business clearly has been listening to their customers in expanding their offerings to fit their needs.
