We recently had a second install for a large three panel window in our kitchen and there was an issue during the install when the measurement was slightly off. Something that rarely if ever happens. They expedited new shutters in a third of the time and offered a reduced price because of the inconvenience. The fact that they responded so quickly reflects how seriously they consider customer support. It meant a lot. Lastly, the install team is very professional, clean, and fast. Title: Extremely poor experience - long delays, incomplete installation, and no resolution…read more We hired TFT (The Finished Touch) Interiors, owned by Eugene Tondre at last known address 2280 KINGSCREST CIR., APOPKA FL 32712 (address no longer valid), in early January 2025 to install Hunter Douglas blinds throughout our entire brand-new home. First red flag was the required purchase price paid upfront. We were told the blinds would be ready and installed within 6-8 weeks. Instead, the process dragged on for months. We repeatedly had to request updates, and it ultimately took about five months before the blinds were finally installed. Unfortunately, the problems didn't stop there. When installation finally happened, several blinds were missing, some were measured incorrectly, and certain equipment had not even been ordered yet. We were told these issues would be corrected quickly within a few weeks. Instead, several more months passed with the same pattern of delays, vague text messages, and no meaningful progress. After nearly 12 months of trying to resolve the situation, we finally attempted to pursue the matter through small claims court, but the installer could no longer be located for service and would not return phone calls. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating and costly. We are out thousands of dollars and deeply regret hiring this company. My advice to anyone considering this installer is to stay away and find someone else. Beware.

While the other companies delivered quality work, TFT installed a defective curtain rod that would not allow the privacy drapes they installed over our glass patio doors to close properly. We complained appropriately. Owner Eugene Tondre assured us that a new rod had "been ordered" and would be here "in two weeks" but it never arrived. This went on for more than six months. Finally, we had to hire a new company to install a brand new rod at a cost of more than a thousand dollars. I would NEVER do business with Mr. Tondre or his company again, and I strongly advise against doing so under any circumstances unless you want to throw good money away! Telling it like it is.
