However, the behavior during and after the women's game were horrible. One player appeared to be trying to pick a fight continuously during the game. I sat at midcourt as I like to see everything and I had no vested interest in the outcome. A mother of a Simpson player sat a few rows behind me and she was loud and continued to verbally accost the officials and opposing team. A Cal Maritime staff member had to go and talk with her for some time. After the staff left, the woman calmed down for a bit but she soon escalated her verbal assaults, even encouraging players to assault their opponents and the officials. I got up and moved to another part of the gym but one of the officials stopped the game and ejected her. I'm sure her daughter was proud. After the game, even though Simpson won, I saw this woman and a number of other Simpson parents yelling at the officials as they left the building under police escort. The coach never made any effort to control his players or fans. Such a poor exhibition of Christianity. If this is what Simpson condones, I highly recommend that people stay away. Also, I saw similar behavior by Simpsonites at a game against William Jessup University a few years ago.

My child said he was threatened by the kid. I (the parent) was not even notified by the school. I find out through my child crying his eyes out because he's scared to go back. I get home and call school right away. I was told there was absolutly no incedent with a knife. I confront Mr. Moebus (principal) this morning 11/9/18, come to find out I was lied to yesterday and a boy did have a knife. I Tell him my son confided in me he that he was being bullied since day 1, by multiple kids. Moebus tells me quite rudely my son dishes it out too. Hmm. Ive never been informed of my son causing any issue. 11-8-18 however my son was not the one with a knife. Moebus tells me noah was not threatened by this kid cause he reviewed the cameras . First of all those cameras have no sound so how would moebus know that my child was not verbally threatened? I do know this my kid is 11 years old, he felt threatened. I would have even felt threatened. The school had litteraly all day to inform me of incident. As this happened before school started. Oh it gets better...Moebus informs me that my son is bieng suspended today for Moebus having to spend his precious time reviewing servalence yesterday. He decides my kid is a liar and suspendes him, mind you ...again, the other child had a knife, my child had no sort of weapon. As a parent I know if any child shows up at school with any sort of weapons, I'd like to be notified what happened on my child's campus ASAP! Especially if my child is on that camera footage while a kid takes a knife out of his backpack and shows it to My child, he had no idea how to handle that situation. So yea mabey he made up a bit of a lie, getting picked on all the time plays a role mentally, no wonder some poor kids kill themselves. Bullied by the kids, thinking you would be protected by a so called principal. But getting punished instead. GOOD RIDENCE PARSONS! Oh and thanks for making him feel more worthless moebus! really spectacular leadership skills

Towers on a school LOCK DOWN was outside while I was in the classroom under the table she comes to the door struggling to get in so knowing me I got up let her in. Then she decided to not let me go to a 250 mile away field trip to San Francisco knowing I have good grades but still denied not letting me go and while I thought I was saving her life and the school board does not let the kids know if it was a drill or not that's why I let her in then. Then mrs. Tower lied and said that they did tell us it was a drill knowing that every other teacher says they can't let kids know or not. She is very rude to kids on regular days. And is unfair to kids struggling with stuff at home don't MAKE YOUR KIDS GO HERE THEY WILL COME HOME CRYING BECAUSE THE TEACHERS DONT DEAL OR HELP WITH BULLYING. Janitors do not pick up school is very dirty

Review of Buckeye School (Parent Experience) As a parent, my…read moreexperience with Buckeye School over the past several months has been alarming, deeply disappointing, and ultimately unsafe for my children. I feel it is important to share what I personally witnessed and what many other concerned parents reported as well. I hope this helps families make informed decisions and encourages the district to take immediate action. 1. Severely Out-of-Control Classrooms Classroom environments were consistently chaotic and unsafe. Students frequently engaged in physical aggression toward each other, including hitting, throwing objects, and using classroom supplies in dangerous ways. Despite these ongoing incidents, no meaningful intervention or disciplinary action was taken. The level of disorder made learning impossible and placed students at risk. 2. High Teacher Turnover and Staff Instability Within the first three months of the school year, several teachers quit--some lasting only a few weeks. This constant turnover created instability and confusion for the students. Rather than addressing the repeated behavioral issues from a small group of disruptive students, the administration instead placed blame on the teachers, creating a cycle that never improved. 3. Extremely Concerning Staff Behavior and Verbal Aggression Multiple parents, including myself, reported verbally aggressive or inappropriate interactions involving certain staff members and substitutes. When concerns were brought forward, administration either dismissed them or claimed they would look into it, but no follow-up occurred. These concerns were treated as exaggerations or ignored completely. 4. Unsafe "Calm Down Room" Practices The school utilized a so-called "calm down room" that, in reality, resembled a storage or janitorial closet. Students were placed inside for extended periods, often locked in or prevented from leaving. Several parents--including myself--felt this practice was unsafe, unregulated, and inappropriate for children. 5. Lack of Administrative Accountability Attempts to report issues--whether verbally or through written communication--were routinely brushed aside. Some parents noticed that written reports appeared not to be kept or documented appropriately, raising concerns about transparency. When safety issues were reported, the general administrative response was dismissive, often suggesting parents "find another school" rather than addressing the problems. 6. Gender, Special Education & General Education Safety Failures Classrooms combining students with significant behavioral needs and general-education students were not supported with adequate staff or structure. This created extremely volatile environments where children were hurt, frightened, or overwhelmed. My own children repeatedly came home distressed by incidents that were never acknowledged or addressed by the school. 7. Failure to Address Weapons, Harmful Items, and Drugs Parents reported students bringing items such as pocketknives, lighters, and even substances onto campus. Instead of strict supervision and intervention, these concerns were largely minimized. This lack of oversight contributed directly to unsafe conditions for all children. 8. Dismissive, Unresponsive Leadership Both the principal and vice principal were made aware of the ongoing issues numerous times by many parents. Despite this, the typical response was dismissiveness, a claim that they were "aware," and no actual corrective action. The administration consistently refused to take accountability or enforce consequences for dangerous behavior. Conclusion After repeated incidents, unaddressed safety concerns, and the complete breakdown of structure in the classrooms, I made the difficult decision to withdraw my children from Buckeye School. In my experience, the environment is unsafe, unregulated, and not conducive to learning or emotional well-being. The administration's unwillingness to take action left me with no confidence that the situation would improve. I truly hope that the district investigates these concerns thoroughly so future students do not experience the same failures my children did. signed a parent and -student advocate-it is my personal belief that both Mr. Mr. Walker should be removed from their positions of power as they don't actually do anything in the scope of their job representation as to keeping faculty and other students safe from those who they continue to allow these individuals to be at the school and doing things like stabbing children with scissors, drug illegal drug use, engaging in sexual behavior in the bathroom and more I would also like to add that this school age all the way up to eighth grade and this is control. I have gone as for us to contact the district. Write a letter to mayor of Redding, California, and many many other things, and I hope that these individuals are removed for their positions and held accountable through the amount of abuse

When I called the school to ask why they would allow a kid that's coughing to go back to school they really made it quite clear they don't care the lady literally sat there and told me about how great their school is. I reminded her there has been videos posted to Instagram in the past of a lil girl being kicked on the ground by other students and asked her how that fit into her idea of a perfect school. I know several people that went to this school 10-20 years ago and I can honestly say the community thinks this is the worst school in Shasta county let alone possibly nor cal as a whole. The fact they let a kid with Covid go to school shows they don't care and honestly quite scary that when I told them I would be talking to my attorney to see if I have a case as they risked my entire family's life they told me I couldn't because they sent home liability waiver but I told the lady I wouldn't sign a waiver for this exact reason. Not to mention when they sent home the waivers they told the kids that if they had their parents sign the paper they would get a surprise bag the next day at school I obviously didn't sign it and thought this was a lot like bribing a kid to have their parents sign legal documents to protect them from negligence like this maybe I'd be wrong if it wasn't for the fact that the next day at school the teacher handed out the surprise bags to only the kids that had their parents sign the waiver isn't that illegal? I guess we will see after I call my lawyer and I'll most likely be pulling her out this school for her own safety as they obviously don't care about peoples safety my daughters mom has been coughing up blood and sneezing blood from this.
