My son attended and received his diploma in the carpentry trade. They basically received on the job training at Habitat for Humanity sites - labor force. One would think they would construct small projects in class i.e. picture frame to practice mitering corners. Can't feel confident that these students are ready to hit the ground running. read more

I am appalled that they do not clean the bathrooms, provide suitable living arrangements for students and the worst of all serve food that has made my son sick more times than I count. With the price of tuition and housing you really think they would do better. Don't even get me started on President John Swallows involvement on campus, because there's nothing I could say. Tuition prices are rising while student satisfaction is declining. Sorry excuse for a college. Hope this helps anyone's college search!

There is no denying that Carthage is a beautiful campus.

It gets cold and snowy here, so if you're coming up from the sun belt I advise extensive planning.

The student body may not be a diverse--racially or socio-economically--bunch, but as a whole they are very friendly and polite.
