Yes 6 years as I started in 7th grade as was usual for this school. I could write a book about my years here but won't bore you with all the dumb things I did while attending this fine institution. When I went and today even more so a College Preparatory School. In short it is plug and play. You go in 7th grade and come out prepared for college. This was the same for me, my uncle who attended in the 30's and my two sons who attended in the the late 90's and early 2000's. When I went here most of the classes were taught by Brothers and Priests. Now it has gone all lay teachers. I guess things were different when I went as if you got out of line literally or figuratively you felt the consequences. My sons did not. All three of us turned out OK. I am proud that I went here, proud both my sons went here and will remain a Chaminade man for my life.

You had to wear leggings under shorts. Everyone at this school is so fake. Girls will be on social media acting like they're best friends with someone they never even talk to in real life. My daughter is a type 1 diabetic and a 501 health plan was never put into effect. I was told all teachers would be educated on diabetic emergency and know where the glucagon pen would be. It was never done. My daughter was belittled by teachers for checking her blood sugar in class and eating a snack for a low blood sugar. The WORST part from this school happened when our son passed away. We removed our daughter from the school. We had already signed a contact for the next year before we found out about the lack of a safety plan for our daughter. Even though a replacement student came in we paid the tuition in full the summer before school started. Half way through the school year we receive a letter from an attorney asking for the tuition in full with attorney and legal fees. This came on what should have been our sons 30th birthday. Since we had paid them in full we had to contact our bank , get copies of our cancelled checks and have our lawyer submit proof of our payments. We never received a sympathy card or anything saying how sorry they were for our sons death. They only care about the money.
