There's a staffed visitor's centre, and I was able to take some paper maps and talk to a staff member about directions and recommended hikes for our time and energy levels. My husband and I tried out Kelly's Bathtub and Friendly Vistas, and the trails were nice easy walks in a pretty setting. We really only stopped for about an hour, but will definitely plan to return to check out more of this awesome park.

The motel we stayed in had two separate bedrooms: and a tv right in front of each bed. Great for different people to watch different channels in the different rooms. It was also very clean and tidy. The staff cleaned up well, although they left some supplies in our room one time. That wasn't a biggie - just a small, careless mistake that was probably just a one time occurrence. The facilities also included a fitness room (kind of small, though, but at least it existed!), a pool, a water slide, and a hot tub. The wifi worked well and was very quick as well. There was a decent breakfast in the morning, and the lobby has cookies + popcorn + juice machine available in the afternoon/evening. Kids loved this! In our place, we had a fridge, microwave, stovetop, and coffee maker. Overall, a great place to stay in Hinton! Would definitely recommend: and not too expensive either.

And I am loving the convenient free wifi available in each room. The soaps and amenities are of good quality and you get an in room refrigerator as well. A continental breakfast is also served. My only concern were the seemingly paper thin walls and noise from the next room. But I figure with the savings I get by staying here I can afford a pair of ear plugs and still come out ahead. This location served me well after hiking several days in North Jasper Park area.

Everything is beautiful and so far these are the most beautiful cabins I have seen around Jasper. The customer service was great! When we arrived we noticed a window was broken and we couldn't close it. They apologized and fixed it in 5 minutes. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The place also had an outdoor pool and a nice game room. I loved our experience and I highly recommend these cabins! :)

It would be a great place to stay with kids since they had a pool and game room at the main office building. Additionally, there is a Camp Store with groceries, snacks, drinks, and any last minute things for sale in case you forgot something. The surrounding outdoor views were great and they had fire pits, chairs, and grills around the property. I would definitely stay here again.

But they did let a bunch of generally tame 20- and 30-somethings run amok for an evening. It was pretty awesome. We ate two meals there. My specific complaint is that we were required to sign up for the Sunday brunch in advance of the wedding--which would have been fine, but there was some disagreement between the wishes of the bride (who wanted to hold the brunch at 9 a.m. to accommodate late risers and hangovers) and the ranch operators (who insisted that brunch would begin at 8 a.m.--as if that weren't just breakfast). This wasn't necessarily a problem, but they assessed guests an additional $8 for "brunch" because it was an hour later than they wanted to serve it. So we ended up paying $20 each for what was a pretty lacklustre breakfast, and the kicker was that we didn't even know until we were settling up at the service desk. I might consider going back as the lease on the ranch is for sale (it's on Crown Land). Maybe some buyers who aren't interested in fleecing captive guests will jump on board ...

Internet connection seemed a little slow, but worked fine with waits. There is a limited breakfast available, but we have not tried it yet. Other Days Inn have cereal, fruits, and waffles, so I am expecting the same here. The only detraction some may have is this Hotel is about 1.6 miles East of the center of town. not a problem since this is probably just a stop over on the way to Jasper Park.

My wife choose this hotel after reading all the reviews on Tripadvisor and Google. Reservations were made months in advance. We reserved a room with a king bed. No upgrades were given. They gave us the room we booked. The room was comfortable with a small couch, work station, and a TV. The bathroom was okay. Surprisingly, they provided small bottles of soap, conditioner and shampoo. Complimentary breakfast is served in the morning downstairs. They have a small breakfast area with plenty of seating. They had scrambled eggs, sausage, breads and yogurt. They had 2 waffle makers with only one that actually worked. Juice and coffee were available. The breakfast was your average hotel breakfast. They have a small gym with treadmills, ellipticals and a bike. Dumbbells are available if you need to lift weights. All the machines worked. Sanitizing wipes are available for you to clean the equipment after use. It was a decent hotel gym. Overall, this is a decent hotel. It is close to Jasper. The town of Hinton had plenty of restaurants that serve Indian food and places for you to visit.

I find…read moreit irritating that many hotel owners try to save up on pennies by providing plastic/paper glasses for water and coffee. It was refreshing to see proper glass tumblers in the room. Hence four stars. Few recommendations to the owner / operator who just started this place to get my full 5 stars: keep up your helpful ways! Please keep basic coffee machines in the room- they are cheap and don't cost much to operate. Lastly, it won't also cost much to keep decent shampoo,conditioner, body lotions instead of the cheap shampoo pouches. Such small amenities go a long way is providing a satisfying stay.
