But beware, the soup is MSG heavy. An Nam is at the prime location at the main level of one of the tall office buildings which is also at the corner of a busy street next to the Auto Museum and the giant outlet. It is walking distance from the strip mall. And the train station is just around the corner. This is a the perfect place to hide from the cold weather for hot soup. For our first visit, the hot Vietnamese Vegetarian Noodle Soup was the perfect way to recharge after a good day of shopping. For our second visit, it was a great way to start our day of exploring the area and the Auto Museum. Check out the Specials written on the board by their counter (well I mean if you can read German). But they also had the beef with vermicelli rice noodles, and I hadn't had that in a while either, so I went with that option. The spring rolls were big and tasty, fresh. The beef was good. I wasn't expecting the presentation, as normally in the U.S. the noodles are in a big bowl, with the beef and such so you can mix it all up good before eating. But, it was still very good food. Service was also good, not overbearing but expedient. The atmosphere was pleasant - they have some outdoor seating so I sat outside on a nice evening, and it added to a great atmosphere.
