To our surprise, there was a terrace behind the house with a view with a splendid view of the mountains (what else) and an enchanting menu. The chef is brilliant and imaginative. With luck you'll enjoy breakfast in the Zirbenstube. Casual, traditional, down-to-earth, dignified. Everything was just right here. We recommend this hotel with all all our hearts.

Breakfast was not only delicious but my eggs were made to order, being an American, I like my eggs over easy not sunny side up, and upon our coming down to breakfast our table was reserved for us every morning. The only thing we understood was "West Virginia, 2" but that was enough, lol. We didn't partake but there is a swimming pond, we were too tired from our days. Many restaurants here are closed on Sundays but thankfully they remained open at the hotel! Prices for the rooms and food can't be beat! Think of wood ski chalet for decor. This was simply our favorite place that we stayed in Austria near Erzberg and we stayed 3 nights. To our Americans be forewarned, very few places accept credit cards in Austria!

I could happily spend an afternoon here enjoying the scenery and having a cold beverage or two. The menu here is quite extensive and they have a daily specials board. The staff are super friendly and prices are quite reasonable. The reality is that if you are not playing golf you are not likely to come here. I do however understand that many locals come here for a meal and you can see signs for this restaurant in nearby towns. I had a salad and it was huge. Tasted great and it was good fresh produce and cheese. The addition of apple and pumpkin oil (a nice Austrian touch) made the flavour and taste quite intense. I would happily come here again for a meal. It's good food and reasonable.

Room was very comfortable and served its purpose, nice and clean. I'd described it as simple, you get what you pay for which was reasonable. Breakfast was good, typical Austrian flair with cold cuts, cheeses and various breads. I'd stay here again as it's close to conveniences and the staff was friendly and helpful.

I have tried almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed, the service is impeccable, they already remember us for coming over the years so we get very good attention. Moser is run by the extremely friendly Herr and Frau Moser. The ancient building feels like a kick back to a very different time; when one enters the main rooms through a small entrance room with a vaulted stone archway, the feel of the place is old-fashioned comfort. Dark wood and vintage curiosities such as old firefighting gear, hunting equipment, and traditional decorations cover the walls. The atmosphere in Moser is one of the things that propels it above other eateries I've visited.
