This is my favorite place for leberknödelsuppe (liver dumpling soup) the broth is mildly addicting and the dumpling is huge, it's dense, the way I like it. They have a fine dining area off to the left if you want a quieter ambience, the staff is friendl every time I been comic here, since 2015. If your going gashaus hoping put this on your list, it really is a hidden gem in Upper Austria.

The property is well kept and charming, my room was spotless, and the breakfast really is a great way to start the day. The staff were incredibly accommodating, gave me instructions for my late check-in, and let me leave my bag there while I went for a hike the next day! The town itself is just a gem at the very beginning of the Austrian Alps, cute, has restaurants and an old town feel. I will definitely return!
