We were the only guests that ordered food so the kitchen was not busy. No excuse made by the waitress. We were not asked if we needed something like mayonese with the fries. Bad food: - except for the lettuce, the side salad was from a can. - the cordon bleu was a schnitzel with cheese in it.. - the fries had been deep fried in old fat. Dirty: There were stains on the table cloth. Old: - 1970s green tiles on the floor, old furniture. - only cold water to wash hands in toilet. - only cash accepted - no Wi-Fi

It's literally centered on Windischgarstens main thoroughfare, surrounded by cute shops and beautiful architecture. It has outdoor or indoor, please please if it's nice out eat outside and enjoy the beautiful vista and fresh air. I have tried almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed, the service is impeccable, they already remember us for coming over the years so we get very good attention. If you're passing through on the A9 or enjoying a pleasant bike ride through town stop in and give it a try, you will not be disappointed!
