It is a family-run exquisit hotel with 40 rooms, a big indoor pool and an excellently designed thermal and wellness area. Bio-Sauna, Tyrol-Sauna, Sole-Steambath, Infrared-Cabin - you name it, you find it in the "Sonnenhof". The "Sonnenhof" is at the foot of the "Wilder Kaiser", one of the most impressive mountain-chains in the Alps. Here in Going you are right in the center of the largest ski-area in Austria. Kitzbühl, the famous village with the even more famous downhill-course "Streif" is just around the corner ---- and, thankfully, the price-level of Kitzbühl is also "around the corner"! One more thing absolutely needs to be mentioned: the food in the "Sonnenhof" is simply sensational. It starts with a very nice breakfast buffet, followed by a snack for lunch, a typical tyrolian "Marende Jause" in the afternoon and a brilloiant 5 course meal for dinner. And all this is included in the "Halfboard Plan".......... In closing I would like to mention that staying in the "Sonnenhof" is just PERFECT!!!! If you are looking for cosy atmosphere, excellent food and personal service - the "Sonnenhof" must not be missed!

The rooms are really well fitted out and my children loved the bed a circular double bed with a bed above it (like bunk beds), very exciting. The food was good with 4 course evening meals and free after ski snack. The hotel owner goes out of his way to provide evening entertainment as the hotel is a little way out of town. He ran a free bowling night with prizes. A winter candlelit walk through the village with Schnapps, and a trip to the ski instructors show in nearby Ellmau. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again my self!

Enough spa and relaxation facility for you to choose. Comfortable bed and parking across the hotel. Our experience at A-Rosa Resort in Kitzbuhel warrants my effort here…read more After a long day skiing the stunning Austrian Alps, we melted into the relaxing sauna and steam rooms, followed by a dip in the indoor/outdoor pool. On a chilly star-lit night, the heated outdoor pool was wonderful, after a relaxing massage. The food was a pleasant surprise, with an array of options suitable for international travelers plus an assortment of local cuisine for the adventurous palate. We spent a day in the charming village of Kitzbuhel, which is only a half mile walk from the resort. The amenities and staff at A-Rosa helped make up for unfortunately poor snow conditions during our stay (global warming is real). I recommend A-Rosa with no hesitation.

The lounge area is phenomenal and looks so chic, and a great place to wind down after a day skiing or sightseeing. The bedrooms are designed wonderfully and the bathroom with the walk in shower was great. The spa is great and has a range of amenities, such as sauna and a pool that leads outside. It is the perfect place to relax. Tea is offered to guests to aid their relaxation. One can rent ski equipment at the hotel. Breakfast was amazing, offering a full breakfast buffet and champagne. All cooked to perfection, especially the omelettes! Room service was convenient but the food (burger and crisps) was nothing out of the ordinary.
