Brad is the most miserable human I have encountered that wasn't in the back of a cops car. He automatically sets your good vibe vacation into a stressful tail spin. The money charged was very expensive which when you are in vacation you might expect BUT the RUDE & DISRESPECTFUL attitude and communication with belittling remarks was just uncalled for and definitely a bad energy storm to those that are coming over for a distress calm good energy stay. I encourage anyone that is looking for a cool business to start this water taxi gig could be a wonderful journey. I would totally do this. Buy a boat or two, get a captains license or hire someone, provide a friendly and helpful service- and it may branches out to more. I'm a Texan which is too far away- but I see a desperate need and great potential here. This Pirates Water Taxi Company doesn't really want the business and is actually pretty resentful to provide the service. I would be thrilled to help them out if business. To destroy your vacation peace after traveling so far to start a relaxing stay is unforgivable especially when most of us get so little time off. That was our experience, take it or leave it.

Beautiful area. Marina is in a great location. That is the good. The bad? Very poor management…read more Docks are being worked on but mostly in bad shape. Zincs go twice as fast as normal. Electrical boxes literally falling down. Most have burnt connectors. Water had green algae coming out. Internet only works on the first section of dock and is unsecured. Pump out works sometimes and they hand you the hose. Diesel is cheap, gas is high. Cable T.V. does not work. The pool, bathrooms and laundry closes at 5 p.m. every day. If you still want to go I suggest you walk the docks and talk to the current live a boards and the employees of the boat club on site. Ask them what they think of management. Do yourself a favor and pass them by. 1/2 mile south is Palm Harbour. Go there. They have great facilities and the staff is very helpful and very friendly.

I was inspired to write this review because, most recently, the repair shop replaced a $600 part on my Yamaha engine as a "goodwill" gesture--even though the engine was out of warranty. That kind of integrity really stands out, as they passed the full value of the part on to me. This dealership truly knows their way around Yamaha and Grady-White boats.

Supplied all equipment, bait and was great with my 11 year old daughter, giving her pointers on how to reel in the fish, when to let it run, how to keep tension on the line but not too much. She caught the most fish 7 and caught a fish on her first cast. Within 15 minutes we all had caught a fish. One of our friends who has a boat but is not that familiar with the area got allot of great information from him that will help in the future. Justin gave him some pointers on how to get around the area. We only had two fish we could keep but he filleted them while waiting to dock. I would recommend him to anyone he did an outstanding job and knew were to go to catch the fish that are in season!

Captain Keith shuttled us to/from Cayo Costa for a family camping trip. The water was rough on the…read moreway out. We had two kids under the age of 5 on board and Captain Keith was mindful of that the whole way. Not only did he navigate the chop safely, it was obvious he didn't want the kids to be scared or soaked. He kept everyone relatively dry the whole way. In addition to providing a great ride, Captain Keith shared some great fishing information as we were planning to fish from Cayo Costa. His information was very useful and he even gave us the 'shrimp' off his back. That's right, we couldn't find any live shrimp that morning to bring out so Keith gave us what he had in his live well which proved to be the necessary bait to catch fish that afternoon. We'll always book with Captain Keith going forward.
