Within a few weeks I met both Ed and Rob, and they were the two most down to Earth and most humble guys I had ever met. They were so laid back that they instantly made you feel comfortable, the atmosphere was just as modern and stylish as any other place that attracted hordes of teenagers just aching to find their 'cliquey' barbershop to call their own. Instead of finding a spot to just be able to brag about, I discovered the only Barber Shop I would ever trust with my hair ever again. They redefined the game at Ed and Rob's, they worked hard and diligently for years, slowly and humbly growing their business. They went out of their way to become friends with everyone in town and offer them a place that was unrivaled. It's so hard to properly give these two credit for an experience that truly captures your ability to feel like you belong to something amazing, especially when most people don't think much about places becoming a part of your history, but that's what this place was for me and still is. Even after I joined the military and lived in various states, I missed the cuts I'd get at Ed and Robs. They remembered every little detail about your cuts, they remembered every conversation and every life that they made better. Ever barber who walked through those doors to learn or to work, became great, and their retention rate would probably be at 100% if anyone could measure it over the years. I love this place.

I've been wanting to try this place for quite sometime but with the Covid shutdown and then the tight rules after it wasn't happening. As restrictions eased and we started looking like we'd been trapped in the island with Tom Hanks and Wilson, the time had come to go. So Saturday morning the three of us drove over not knowing what to expect. Walking in we were greeted by all the staff and were very pleased to find there was an empty chair right away. Not wanting him to feel neglected, we tossed my son out there and had him be the first in the chair. My Brother was next to go and before I could enjoy the soft leather of the waiting area's chairs, I was up and sitting in one of the coolest barber chairs I'd ever sat in. Now I'm not a small guy, I stand 6'5" and am pushing nearly 380 but I was quite comfortable in this chair. My barber was Arian and I've seen him in a few of the posts on Instagram. Really like what I've already seen. I explained that I've been basically buzzing my hair myself for quite sometime but along with a beard shaping to a goatee and a shave, that I was looking to change things up. I told him I trust his judgement and away we went. I could not have been happier with the results!! The cut my son got was truly spot on. And though he pretty much got the same style that he's had for years it was done with such precision that he looked totally different. Sharper. Better than his old place by leaps and bounds. My Brother explained that he's had the same style for over 30 years and wanted something different. What he got floored us all! The ladies back home spent the day complimenting his new look and he was pretty happy with it. So all in all this was an amazing experience for us all. The decor is awesome and just keep looking around at what you may spot. I especially liked the poster of Michael Caine from the film "Get Carter" hanging up high! Prices were quite decent especially for the quality of work these artists performed on us. We will be returning and if you've read this far, I recommend you give them a try as well.
