My brother has MS. He has been unable to work and doctor has not cleared him to work due to bad balance issues. He is basically a liability to any business because he is incredibly unsteady on his feet and falls due to this without warning. He walks with a cane. Him getting up from seated position to walk is always a "will he fall?" situation. My parents saw Penar's ads on tv and hoped to get help navigating getting disability for my brother who was diagnosed Dec 2018. Penar's law offices deemed my brother able to work, sight unseen, and told him to seek employment. Yeah...the doctor says otherwise a-hole. Avoid this law office. They are a crock of shit. read more

Absolutely the worst, avoid at all costs. Lost an easy disability case that a parking meter could have won. AFTER the disability hearing, the son hands me a form and says get this paper work filled out and who will win the case, why would you present a client with paperwork that will win the case after the hearing ? By the way, the form did not help my case, damn these idiots. Used very little of the information retrieved from all my doctors, and they have a front office worker that forgets to do things, I called back several times and she said, oh, I forgot to give Mr. Penar the paperwork you sent, awful. Idiot lawyer, idiot son, idiot staff, truly the worst piece of shit law firm you will ever see, do not use these lazy, half assed morons for anything. DO NOT USE! He waited until the NIGHT before my administrative hearing to tell me the evidence for my case was weak. And that weakness cost me my case. He had well over 1.5yrs to tell me what evidence I was lacking, which evidence was weak, and to tell me what would be needed to better prove my case. read more

I'll start by saying RUNNN as FAST and FARRR as you can from gary penar ,After signing a contract by mail ,was not ever able to talk to penar. Called several times finally as I was leaving the hospital with pneumonia the day before my administrative hearing (against DRs advice) Gary wanted to postpone the hearing but I wasn't having it waited too long. We finally agreed to meet at 12:30 for a 1:00 hearing. NO GARY @ 12:55 and when called again at 1:10 clerk was explaining what options we had and here came gary penar he ask clerk for 1min long enought to tell me we had no chance. Then worst of all he sat there playing on his computer .The Judge ask a question 3 times and I finally answered as best I could she wanted to amend my filing date after interviewing the Doctors that had reviewed my heath records He was as TREBLE A attorney as you could get. I WON MY CASE. WITH NO HELP FROM HIM ,,every time I see him on TV when he says social security is all I do I get a sick feeling in my gut that he's allowed to practice LAW. ALL HE DOES IS WORKS THE AVERAGES. MY OPINION ANY HOW,,15 CASE A WEEK WIN 3 x $6000 = $18000 should have protested his amount but didn't.
