Signed, Still Miserable Update: I called corporate and they got in touch with regional, who then got in touch with the office. The office finally called me. It turns out that Lilly, the NP I was seeing, has left the office and my stuff just completely fell through the cracks. My scripts have now been sent in, finally. However, I'm wondering how things will be going forward and likely will be switching to a different provider as this experience has not let time feeling confident in the care I will be needing in an ongoing basis.

My experience was beyond disappointing from the start at this location…read more I have been in healthcare for more than 30 years and patient care has always been my biggest priority. With that being said, I know things can be busy or staffed and be shorthanded, but I'm not sure if that was the case. From the moment I walked in for my 1st appointment I felt very unwelcome! The receptionist barely acknowledged me was short unfriendly and almost seemed just irritated to be there. I have excellent insurance and I'm ver knowledgeable with insurance. She just told me my copay was $99 with no explanation, to me that was more than normal but I paid and will confirm with my ins EOB the costs. One of the responsibilities of a receptionist or front office is to set a 1st impression of a practice and this was a big failure on her part. The nurse that took my vitals was pleasant, the PA was great, knowledgeable and explained everything well. The second nurse that took my blood was outgoing and friendly, this gave me hope about my future appointments. I scheduled my follow up for a week later to review my results. On my second appointment there was a different receptionist and she was more pleasant. I was brought back quickly and a new nurse came in took my BP and explain another provider was here today than the normal one. She left saying she'd be in shortly. I waited 50 minutes no one ever came check in on me or explain why I was waiting so long! I would have been ok if someone came in, apologized for the wait and gave me an update but that never happened. After a hour of nothing I went to the front office and asked for a copy of my test results and said I've been waiting a hour no one has come in, I'll find another office. I was more shocked by the total lack of professionalism when she never once apologized and just printed my results out and handed them to me. I would not recommend this place to anyone I know. It's a corporate medical office and you would think they'd have better trading in place for their team. This was my worst experience ever and I still don't know what I paid for? Update!!!! As I thought I received my EOB today and they charge my ins more than $800 for a visit with a PA and blood work. Per my EBO I was only to pay $24. I'm not dealing with these people that abuse medical billing codes. I'm filling a complaint wit BCBS. I'll let them deal with their billing department. Always check your benefits and EOB most of these large Corp managed care facilities are run by business people that expect you not to catch their misuse of billing!

I'm not sure what mindset they're operating under, but 1 would think they'd be less concerned about face coverings and more concerned with their staff presenting themselves as healthy.  Quite frankly, the individual at the front desk & most of the female staff look like they should be waiting in the lobby themselves.....as a weight loss patients.

I have been a patient of Kent's for at least 10 years and at first just happened to call his office because he was close to my home. The first time in his waiting room, I asked a lady who was waiting what she thought of the doctor and she said she drove in from out of town to see Kent and had been a patient for 7 years. Pretty impressive. I have had quick, professional, and consistent service and would recommend him to anyone who needs a general practitioner. His office staff will book you the day you call, sometimes within 45 minutes! Kent doesn't accept insurance or medicare, which probably is why he can work more efficiently. As a self-employed person who rarely visits the doctor, I only call every couple of years when I am on the verge of death and he never fails me!

- A MUST READ BEFORE YOU GO HERE!!! I've gone through THREE!! Surgeries here so, I think I can give…read moreyou the most authentic and honest insight on this place. The first two surgeries were basically flat foot reconstruction surgery and the last one was to take out a plate that was bothering me from my first surgery. When coming here you have to interact with Ms BIANCA. She is one of the front desk clerks who is amazing! She greets you by name when you walk in! I love how she's very personable. I never know how she remembers all these patient names. But yes outstanding customer service. I love her! Next up is Ms. CATHY who takes you back and gets your vitals. She is always nice and makes sure she listens to any concerns you have. She always seems to be in a great mood and you can really see she cares about her job and her patients. Next comes my surgeon, DR. BHAKTA. Now when I first met Dr Bhakta it was very quick. He was not very personable or great at listening to ME. I believe this was because he had serviced my dad brother grandpa you name it. i think he believed he knew that I needed surgery. He was not so great at being patient and listening was not there. I felt like he held my life in his hands my surgeries did not go as planned and I feel my life has been forever changed. Words cannot express how this process has been for me. Let's move on to one of his assistants Ms AMBER in my experience she was the absolute worse. She took out my stitches for my first surgery and was not gentle. She made remarks about how many incisions I had saying "wow he sure cut you up like meat" and continued to laugh at my pain while taking my stitches out. She never offered to console me or stop she thought my pain was hilarious. I noticed one of my incisions were not healed and bleeding and when I brought it to her attention she brushed it off and put a cast on me which later turned into a infection. highly do not recommend her for anything. The only reason I feel she was nicer taking out my stitches from this last surgery was because she wanted a good review. She was kind this go around and even offered to help put on my boot which she has never done in the past. Quite frankly I feel she acts as if she doesn't want to touch you sometimes. I just don't recommend her at all! Moving on to therapy Dr. STEVEN is AMAZING!! He is very personable offers very genuine advice and listens to all your concerns. He answers every concern and question you have thoroughly and knowledgeable. Last but not least My good sus Ms. SHAY I love her. I owe all my recovery to her. There was days I truly wanted to give up and just not push through all of this but she not only encouraged me but pushed me to do and be my best! She is truly a gem. She was very relatable understanding and answered all my concerns professionally and when she didn't know she always got the answer for me. I didn't know that therapy was a key part of this process until she came into my life and I'm truly grateful for her. Overall some of the front desk ladies could get a little more training in professionalism and being more genuine when dealing with patients concerning payments or scheduled appointments. I work in customer service myself I know it can be frustrating but I pride myself in making sure every customer has a great experience. I would not recommend this place! I am still currently in excruciating pain every single day since my surgeries!!

He…read moreis very professional, highly skilled, efficient and has a way about him that just makes you comfortable. He gets 5 stars and I would recommend him as a Podiatrist any day of the week... The office however... more so their scheduling leaves a lot to be desired. For each of my procedures, the doctor wanted a follow up (f/u) visit 2 weeks after. However, they jam pack their schedules such that it is almost impossible to have that f/u on time. After the first procedure, I was able to secure a f/u appointment three weeks after the procedure. As for the second one, they scheduled me about 5 weeks out! I informed them that I needed to get in at the required 2 week time because I would otherwise be unable to make it as was moving 4 weeks after my procedure. They said they would call me if something opened up... they called me after I had already moved, so needless to say I never got to see the doctor after the procedure. The reason for the 3 stars is that I understand they're running a business and try to get people in for procedures. That's all good and fine. But the people you're having these procedures on need regular follow ups to ensure everything is healing well! We're people! With lives!! You can't just call us and expect us to drop everything on short notice. That's why appointments are made, so that we can plan accordingly. For me, about a week and a half into my healing, my toe started to pus up. They did not have any available appointments. So, I had to turn to other sources to obtain the necessary treatment. Thank God everything is now healed up fine, but I really wish they had a better system for scheduling follow ups.
