Full mouth x-rays that I witnessed proved a very different story resulting in crowns, two implants, and a root canal on a previously crowned tooth. All this has been restored and saved with the utmost care and expertise. Dr. Wu was highly recommend and I feel fortunate to have been a receipt of that recommendation. Her staff is well informed and attentive. On my first visit the one staff member available Stephanie made me feel right at home. My wish is that I will be a patient here for the foreseeable future.

But once I arrived, I was suddenly "required" to also do xrays and a full exam, despite explaining that I already have a regular dentist and was only there for whitening. After back and forth with the staff, hygienist, Dr. Wu, and her junior dentist, I reluctantly submitted. At checkout, the receptionist told me how "lucky" I was because Dr. Wu didn't charge for the xrays or exam. Yet the whitening itself -- originally quoted at $650 -- was billed at $899. With the cleaning, my total was over $1,000. When I questioned the discrepancy, the receptionist and office manager insisted that $899 was the "standard price" and that I must be mistaken. To test this, I had my son call the office weeks later. He was quoted $650 for whitening, with no mention of mandatory cleaning, xrays, or exam.

The front desk coordinator greeted me with a smile and immediately made me feel like I was in good hands. Not only does Dr. Chan pay super close attention to you being comfortable in her chair but her work is amazing. I first came for a cleaning and it was probably the best cleaning I've ever had. She took her time with me and listened to any of my concerns and gave amazing advice. I came back a couple weeks later to get two (pre bonded) teeth fixed just from having them for years of general wear and tear. I always dreaded getting them re done because the first couple times weren't all that great. Going to Dr. Chan was a complete 360 experience. She was so gentle, kind and understanding of my concerns and made my dream teeth come to life. I couldn't recommend her more to literally anyone. On my last appointment there was an added expense (which showed optional) that was not discussed and I was charged for it. 2. I got a bill last minute (as in right before going into the appointment) which seemed unprofessional due to their ability in past visits to be early with a bill. The new bill was more than discussed from a previous visit. 3. I requested my previous work from this office to be sent for a review because of a past dentist abusing his power. They weren't the ones in trouble only him but I needed the work to show the difference. I called and talked to Alisha, the front desk, and was told she would see if the doctor got the notice. When I called and left a message to get an update no one called me back. The Good 1. Doctor Lee does great work! This is the truth. Before I went to a dentist who did a horrible job and after that I didn't want to trust any dentist anymore. Doctor Lee changed my mouth. Was I happy with the added cost due to the previous dentist I had screwing up my mouth? No! However, I will say she made a difference. 2. There is a tv on the ceiling so it works well to distract from the work going on. You get headphones and access to Netflix and it's become a more enjoyable experience. Maybe Good, Maybe Bad 1. Doctor Lee asks about any neurodivergent(s) for patients and it is nice to see a Dentist taking this into account because of loud noises and fidgeting. My hope is this doesn't allow the doctor to charge more or take advantage of the client instead this would be an opportunity to bridge those neurodivergent (such as myself) together and with those who are neurotypical.

When you first walk in, the office is clean, inviting and you're greet by friendly and professional staff. The waiting room has comfortable seating, a beverage bar, TV and a gaming room for kids (super cool). The dental assistant, Roxy, was nice and gentle in taking x-rays. The office takes pride in making patients feel comfortable for their appointment and they have neck pillows, shoulder and neck heated compressed, head phones and Netflix available during your appointment. Dr. Lee did my exam and cleaning and she was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. She takes continuing ed classes and always makes sure she can offer her patients the best of services. Checking out was easy and no wait. Stacy who works in the front is so personable and also professional. She makes sure your file is complete, next visit is booked and doesn't rush you out the door like a deli line. Overall, this is a phenomenal place with pro services and amazing people.

It was a very involved process removing the old implant and replacing it with a much higher quality implant. Dr. Turner did an excellent job correcting the situation. Both of us have our teeth cleaned at least every 6 months and we have always had any work recommended by our trusted, long term dentist done immediately. Neither of us had any recent recommendations and our teeth felt fine. The new dentist, Dr. Shahnaz Gharib (and her hygenist that she brought with her from her other practice in town) proceeded to tell both of us that we needed some very invasive and expensive work done. She showed me some pictures of a tooth that was (supposedly) in the upper right side of my mouth that looked like it had been pieced together with metal strips and rivets and told me that it needed to be replaced with a crown immediately or it could fall apart unexpectedly! She also asked me if I had "good insurance" (which I do, but this shouldn't matter!) She also sent my daughter a bill for her cleaning that was covered by insurance but she seemed to be trying to charge her a much higher price than the cleaning price negotiated by her insurance. Dr. Gharib also told her that she needed some radical surgery in her mouth and that she needed to go to an oral surgeon as soon as possible. This all seemed unlikely and suspicious so we changed dentists. We had our appointments with the new dentist last week and wereboth told that our teeth looked great, there was no "robo filling" in the upper right side of my mouth that needed any attention and they even called in another dentist to take a look and everything was fine. My daughter did not have anything that they could find wrong with her. My advice to anyone considering this dentist's advice is to seek a second opinon and also check your bill carefully and compare it with your insurance reimbursement.
