Unfortunately, the food and coffee were pretty bad. We went one morning for some coffee and to split a breakfast sandwich. I ordered a latte, it was warm and rich tasting coffee, but my partner ordered an americano...and it tasted like acid. Bitter, old, and harsh. When we started on the sandwich, the bread seemed fresh, but the avocado was basically a piece of plastic. We were so off put by this gross food we left. It's unfortunate because it's such a nice looking place and the latte wasn't bad. There's too many nice coffee places around that have both good interior and good....coffee.

This time it was less crowded, hardly any customers at all and I was hit by the boring environment. The room is long and narrow and doesn't seat many customers in the main room. You can sit in the leather shop or on upper floor (indoor patio). One thing I didn't notice last time was that the tabletops are made of leather! Upstairs - feel welcome to sit sidebyside in a long row. Naaah. One star for staff and one star for really good espresso though too cold, but one star off for boring environment, one star off for lousy selection of sandwiches at a rip off price and one star off for not accepting AMEX.

(It's not the first time). That's not the vibe of this place. I imagine kind and happy people working here. The place is super light, cozy, rustic, eclectic in decor. It's an old house/villa, so the eating areas are actual rooms. There's also a back garden where they have concerts in the summertime. Skrädderiet is located relatively central in town.
