They have Netflix and YouTube on the TV. They have snacks, drinks and alcohol near the breakfast area, and a box to drop in your coins to pay. (A menu lists the prices. One liter coke was 1€) Underground train entrance right outside the hotel, to take you to the Christmas market. Breakfast was great. They had 2 "hot" plates, of sliced potatoes that were very tasty, and zucchini slices, with tomato & cheese on top. Nice coffee machine with cappuccino, cafe latte, espresso and others. Boiled eggs, meats & cheeses, cereal, fruit, cake, and much more. This place has an excellent location, great room and breakfast. You will not regret staying here. Pay your bill when you check out. (That doesn't happen in the US!)

This one is really nice. However, I booked a double room with a single matress for me and my wife - I particularly asked for ONE matress and not two, knowing they do have rooms with such matressses. Sadly, they failed - and on request said they do not have any rooms with one matress anymore. Next morning, my make up artist told me she had a room with one huge matress. If you want to get good ratings, never lie to your customers. They may find out - and you look bad.

We were given a map of the city and were told that a complementary dinner buffet is from 6 to 9 and breakfast from 6:30 until 10:30 in the lobby Restaurant. We have access to the Club lounge on the 8th floor. The pool fitness room and spa are on the eighth floor. There was an outdoor terrace on the eighth floor with seating and views of the city. Our executive room was spacious, well equipped with a refrigerator, NESPRESSO, safe, a press for our clothing, two luggage racks, two closets, robes ... The bed was comfortable and the shower had a lot of pressure. We were woken up in the middle of the night by sirens and at7 o'clock in the morning street traffic. We enjoyed our complementary dinner in the restaurant. We started with assorted salads and then had beef, rice and corn. The chocolate and lemon desserts were delicious as were the wines with each course. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our breakfast buffet was expansive with generous selections of pastries, fruits, jams, charcuterie, meats, smoked fish, yogurts, eggs to order. This was just a lovely stay in a very convenient location.

Woah woah woah What…read moreI was staying here for a show for work. It was quite interesting. This building is not the Loew's that I thought it would be. The building is quite old. But the rooms are typical, did the job kind of rooms. My stay came with breakfast and that was okay too. There are a lot of seating available. The key system is quite interesting, there is this huge keyring on it and typically, you leave your room key with the front desk when you leave and then you collect it upon your return. Environment Very close to the train station and very walkable to the city center. ~15 mins puts you in the city center Niceness of the staff Very nice staff! I was able to get some documents printed as well and also left my bag when I checked out early. Dollar It was decently priced. Yes? I am not sure I would stay here again...

The one downside is getting to your room was like going through a labrynth. However, the walls and stairs were all very well marked. If you paid attention you got where you needed to go without any issues. The breakfast was wonderful and there was a pretty extensive buffet. I would stay here again becuase of all the things that I look for in a hotel: location, price, comfort, decor etc. They had it all including a pool.

The hotel is located across the street within the walls of Old Town. The location is great. So easy to walk to churches, the castle or watch the World Cup Finals as every bar and restaurant had it on a big screen (or a small TV on a table.) Our hotel room was so comfy and so cozy. It was a bit of a challenge to find as you went out the door at the end of the hall to find it. It was so quiet and had a view of the Old City Walls and gate. Thankful for air conditioning and complimentary bottles of mineral water in the room. Thirsty? Grab more water from the orange fridge in the lobby. There is also a full honor bar down stairs with drinks and snacks. Our room included a full breakfast buffet in the morning. Loved how the choices were laid out and labeled so clearly in German and English. Enjoyed so many delicious breakfast options. Cheese, salads, fresh fruits, vegetables with hummus, muesli and freshly baked cakes. Swiss hot chocolate? Definitely! My hubby loved his latte. Ask for eggs cooked your way.
