My daughter was diagnosed with a tongue tie at birth, but we didn't start noticing issues until she was about three weeks old. By four weeks, we made the difficult decision to have her tongue tie clipped with the help of a lactation specialist. After the procedure, my daughter struggled to latch and breastfeed. I felt defeated and questioned whether I had made the right decision. That's when I reached out to Rochester Family Chiropractic--and I'm incredibly grateful they were able to get us in to see Dr. Kelsey Pierce. Dr. Pierce provided outstanding support and care. Over the next few weeks, she worked with my daughter to strengthen her oral muscles and release built-up tension in her body--two key factors that significantly improved her ability to breastfeed successfully. Overbooked. My time was wasted.
