I've been on the hunt for a good chiropractor and it took me a while to finally find a really good one. I met Dr. Soong 3 months ago and he's been treating my back pains and leg pains. He also offers solid advice on how to prevent the injury/pain from reoccurring. I can tell he's very knowledgeable and I trust his judgment a lot. He has really proven himself because he was the only one who actually managed to fix my back. Now I have a new knee injury and we're starting to work on that. I recently was having abdominal pain and after two weeks and the symptoms getting worse I went to this ER around midnight on a Saturday. My wife advised i go here even though we have a closer hospital near our home. I took her here In middle of night when she had a real bad ear infection and it was speedy. I'm glad I did. I only waited maybe an hour at worse and they started checking me out. They ran all necessary tests like ultrasound, blood work, and a hida scan. I had an inflamed gallbladder with gallstones. I had surgery a day later. Moral of the story is that all of the nurses and doctors i dealt with were very nice and accommodating. Even the patient advocate Vicky. Steven is always on point, never wait more than 5 min on my appointment time. There were times that my lower back was in pain for weeks and he cracked my back in 5 min. I called in to make an appointment, and I told them I would be using my private insurance. The staff advised it would tak 3-4 days to verify my insurance, because they have to send it out. Out where? I logged on to my anthem blue cross to see which chiropractor was closest to my house as I do when I'm searching for primary care doctor or any other specialist and it does not take 3-4 days to verify. I usually give them the info on my insurance card, and I'm given an appointment over the phone. I will be advising my insurance about their process, to verify if this office is the following the service agreement as a participant provider. read more

Right in the heart of Alhambra, this place is nearby Main St. & Garfield Ave. by the Edward theatre. Such a great staff & they won't take much of your time. I would regularly get their about 10am, sign in & they would start with my session right away. Had a back adjustment every week so my back was a ease. They have back machines, Heated blankets, Muscle relaxer pads & you can also ask for suction cups. You will get sent out for an X-Ray check up & the doctor will explain your injury & guide you through your therapy. Overall i would recommend this to anyone in need. read more

I went to Dr Soong office with debilitating back pain that prevented me from walking straight. Any movement was painful. His adjustment, acupuncture, and the massages provided by his staff worked like magic as it almost instantly got me back to walking and being able to bend down and touch my toes. This doctor is just amazing, he spends time with you and explains your skeletal structure and why you're having the pain. I just can't say enough good things about him and his staff. I must also add that I get these back pains periodically and had no other option but to stay home and lay down on a hot pad for a week or two before I could get back to semi normal. I was in a vehicle accident and of course choosing a great therapy clinic is frustratingly hard to find. I can't say anything but "great" things about this place. The Doctor is very insightful. But of course, the staff it's what keeps places like this up and running for years. I really could rave about the many good things and the awesome help this great staff did for me and my family. I really want to shout out their Medical assistant Esmeralda or "Esmy" as we came to know her for her relentless help and support for the many months we where in her care. She's a wonderful human being and great to get things done when needed. I really would recommend this place to everybody. My mother had been undergoing physical therapy for her neck and lower back pain had been taking different meds had an epidural injection and had minimal results. She was referred to Dr.Soong's office for chiropractic treatment and I was glad to see and hear that after a couple of visits my mother was feeling much better she noticed the difference before and after getting the adjustment and the best part is that not only is he a chiropractor but an amazing acupuncturists my mom has felt great relief with his adjustments and acupuncture treatments! I had an excellent experience while receiving chiropractic treatments from Dr. Soong and his staff. I had recently been involved in a horrific car accident and experienced tremendous neck and back pain. I was previously at another chiropractor office for 3 month without much pain relief until I was referred to Dr. Soong office. Within a few weeks of treatment with Dr. Soong, my pain noticeably subsided and within 2 month I was pretty much back to normal. Dr. Soong was very thorough me. He answers all my questions and even suggested a few stretches/exercises to aid in my recovery. In my opinion, Dr. Soong genuinely cares for his patient. I met Dr. Stephen Soong when I was being treated by another chiropractor in the office he worked in prior to this one. The other doctor had adjusted me even though I asked him not to and I immediately got vertigo from it. I was so dizzy and scared and didn't know how I was going to make it home? One of the nurses in the center suggested I see Dr. Steve. I had tried acupuncture before a couple of times and I had never felt or seen such immediate results as I did that first time with Dr. Steve. He was able to help me so I could make it home. He explained to me what he was doing and what I could do to prevent this from happening again. He also put seeds in my ears for me to press on to help me until our next visit. He also took the time to find out about my work related injury, nerve damage, and previous treatments before I left. He cared and from that day on I switched doctors and Dr. Steve became my chiropractor and acupuncturist. I don't think I have gotten vertigo since. Before Dr. Steve my left hand would shake, I could barely move my neck to the left, I had some back pain, and I had little to no strength in my left hand. I also suffered from car sickness, had trouble sleeping, and some of the medications upset my stomach. Since seeing Dr. Steve, my left hand no longer shakes, I have less pain, I sleep better, my stomach feels better, and so much more! Dr. Steve also showed me what I can do at home to gain more strength in my body and live a healthier life!
